I believe this sale was the highest thus far. Green River 9.0 for 24,500.00. http://www.highgradecomics.com/article.php?dynamic=gallery&id=2&sort_by=PROMO_PRICE The last 7.5 in December also made a 1k leap over the last reported sale. They still seem to be climbing. Between the last 90 days, the last 4.0, 5.0 7.0 and 7.5 as well as the 9.0 GR have all been broken so there's still movement upwards even if its not by a lot, it's still heading North. Makes you wonder what else has been sold out there that's been over the GPA highs in each grade. I agree though, while gpa is a useful tool at times, it does lag behind a bit.

A shameless plug but I know someone who just listed a very clean 9.0 in the dealer section.

He's such a great character. With the ability to cross dimensions and the ability to wield magic, I think he's going to be an interesting character to watch on the big screen and in a short amount of time, Doctor Strange will become a household name. With a contract of 5 to 9 movies, his presence will be felt without question. Now all we need is a confirmation that Benedict has the role. (thumbs u Not sure on a prediction but a copy that presents well, will be on many people's wish lists.

+1 I'm stoked. He is so good at "intelligent" dialogue. I don't even mind if they were to keep his British accent. Try to picture in your minds eye how a spell incantation would sound like coming from him. This is awesome news. It's very easy to picture him doing that. If this goes through, I believe Marvel will have the next big star in the Marvel U that they've been looking for.

There was also a 9.0 that sold on comiclink for 25,000.00 but I don't believe comiclink reports to GPA (not sure 100%). 25k for a 9.0 is the newest price that I'm aware of as of now. Once they make the official announcements on who will step into the life of the good Doctor from their very long (short list) of actors, I'm pretty sure we'll see another boost yet again.

It's a matter of short time before this one is on the hot list too I think.

Is it really a key for being #2? DS is again not even on the cover. I wouldn't mind if it doubled in value because I own one, but it is just not a key book IMHO First Baron Mordo I believe. He should be in the movie.

Ditto that! with nearly 1,000 more 9.8's on the census. why? The insane speculation bubble we're in now. This book is in a perpetual bubble that just keeps defying all logic. Everyone keeps saying its only a matter of time before it bursts, but it just keeps going. This has been happening for years. It could get worse/better, (depending on who has them and who doesn't) if the movie is actually good. *Thinking... Have there been movie titles that effected the comic in a negative standpoint? I hope it's a good movie. Not just because of the comic values, but in all honestly I really think this movie can be done bad *spoon* if the right people get involved. Marvel spotlight 5 took a hit. 9.6 copies were at 4500.00 at one point in time while the movie madness was around.

9.0 went for $23,500! I've been watching it as well. I was guessing around 21, 22k. Since that 8.5 on the GPA hit 10k last week, this was pretty much inevitable. Nice sale! Supposedly, Phoenix is almost done with the sign up process with Marvel. Someone did what I assume is a photoshop of him.

An Inhumans movie without Black Bolt? I hope that isn't reality. Please Fox...Sell your movie rights to Marvel. You killed the FF movies for me already, X-Men movies could have been much better(the last 2 were decent but nothing special) and don't even get me started on your new FF cast choices.
