  1. God you are so insufferable. If you have PSA ANYWHERE in your title/keyword search then they will flag it for manipulation. It has been going on for awhile now and they literally sent out an email about it.
  2. Dude you are such an over-reactionary shill. It clearly says on their website that their TATs are merely an estimate. You and the others freaking out on here with "CaLl ThE BbB" are patently absurd and you're acting as if your life savings is depending on getting these cards back. Don't send in cards you can't be without jfc.
  3. It won't take a year, guaranteed. Their turnaround times, even at 200 days or whatever crazy number it was, isn't a year. I have received two orders back from them, both in 4-5 months, and it was not too long over their estimated TAT
  4. I have had plenty of cards come back to me that were not bulk, also, and have had zero issues there. Again, we are only hearing one side of the story here. I'm not saying CSG doesn't have some issues to iron out, but it's simply not fair to give one side of the story (maybe you mislabeled a card that causes further research, among other issues that could arise) and claim the other party is 100% at fault.
  5. I mean sure, but we're also only hearing your side of the story here. I can't even fathom the amount of incompetence that the ppl at these grading companies have to deal with, from people mislabeling cards, to putting them out of order, to undervaluing them, etc etc. I haven't had one issue with CSG through 3 full bulk orders. Everything has been smooth as a whistle. All 3 orders have been after they said they'd get them back to me but who cares? It's the grading industry and the reason I send them bulk orders is bc it's such a cheap way to encapsulate all the cards I want to keep forever + make a profit on cards that I'd otherwise sell raw. If you use CSG exactly what they are good for and stay leaning on those strengths then you and others wouldn't be in such freakout mode and hounding their staff on these boards
  6. That’s just not true, sorry. PSA makes up the VAST majority of this business and there was literally no way for CSG, which was JUST getting off the ground, could have anticipated the amount of cards at first. I will say this - I think they’re making a mistake by continuing to adhere to the “we’ll take as many bulk orders as humanly possible” creed still, but at the same time the people sending in need to make the best educated decision. I just see a lot of uneducated buyers remorse in here and it just comes off as pathetic to me.
  7. I can guarantee you they don’t grade those. I’ve already asked. They’re missing out on a fortune.
  8. Bro the problem is 100% with YOU. You are actually putting in a master class in projection, bc again, it’s YOU who came in here completely exasperated (look at the title of this post - it’s the most absurd thing I’ve ever seen) that you got an 8 on an old- card from the toughest grading company in the game. We’re not saying to you we don’t like PSA. We’re saying you need to know the market and you need to know how to best use each grading company. For me, with CSG’s low price on bulk, I send them a mixed bag of cards I know I want for my PC and will more than likely never sell, modern and ultra modern cards I would have sold raw on eBay and higher priced cards that I want to flip, bc I want to use CSG’s tougher grading scale to see if it’s worth it to send to PSA. It sounds to me you couldn’t wait for PSA to open back up and sent CSG 2000 cards without really knowing what the deal is 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️.
  9. Legit not trying to puke on here but it’s all on you for not knowing that PSA is *by far* the easier grade, esp on older cards. CSG’s initial scanning system is 100% AI, so there is no bias whatsoever. The machine isn’t going to mess up. If it says you got 8 or 8.5 corners then you just didn’t look at them properly 🤷🏻‍♂️ Don’t send old cards to CSG unless they are solely for your PC. If you want to make money off older cards you gotta send to PSA
  10. Yo! So first and foremost, I’ve been trading cards for awhile so I’d definitely would say I have a huge advantage over other guys and gals. Also, just little ‘inside info’ on each company, meaning I’m not going to send older cards to CSG. I’ll send older cards to PSA bc they are absolutely more lenient on older cards. Newer cards, however, if they are centered properly, should almost always get a 9.5. There will be exceptions, obviously, but as my order shows as long as you are turning in newer cards that have been in card savers the entire time then you should score very highly. I turn cards into CSG solely so I can make some profit on cards I’d normally just sell raw on eBay, and then take those profits and put them into cards I really want. For example, I chase certain Rickey Henderson and Penny Hardaway cards, so it’s good to not really have to pay for some of those cards bc of the profit I can get from CSG graded cards. I attached a pic of some of my favorite returns from this past order. Cheers! Edit: I want to say that I also send literally any card I’m going to keep forever to CSG in bulk orders bc they have the lowest price, their slabs look great despite what a lot of ppl say and their slabs fit perfectly into fitted protective sleeves for PSA cards 😎
  11. Yessir!! Thank you, I appreciate it! I added a photo of some of my favorite ones. I got quite a few duplicate 10s, of which I’m not complaining, but that doesn’t make for good photos lol.
  12. 114 card order 18 CSG 10s 78 CSG 9.5s 10 CSG 9s 4 CSG 8.5s 4 CSG 8s Cards are all ultra modern, mixture across Topps/Bowman/Bowman Chrome (+Sapphire)/etc Bc of this first result I sent in 4 more orders.
  13. Absolutely! They are the toughest grade in the industry imo, but that is what I'm looking for. The (up to) 60-40 rule for a PSA 10 is, imo, WAY too lenient. I will say this - this order was 100% ultra modern cards, so I think that played a huge role in the high grades. I really didn't spend too much time at all checking them over before sending in. I will absolutely continue to use CSG bc I love their price, I *love* their grading, I can live with the turnaround times, I like their slabs, etc. I have four more orders with them right now in fact
  14. To be fair to CSG, I got this order in when their turnaround times on bulk were listed at, I believe, 60 days, so in getting my order back a little more than 2 months after they received them that actually sticks right to the timeline for what they said. They received mine on 4/26 and they shipped them back to me on 07/13. When did they receive your economy order, and do you have a screenshot of it? I attached mine.
  15. I simply disagree with you. This is how capitalism and money works. A) It is literally plastered all over their site that it is an ESTIMATED turnaround time, so right there they have wiggle room, regardless of your feelings toward the matter. A.1) This hobby absolutely was set on fire last year and continues to not slow down whatsoever, with record card prices being broken every month, etc. There is literally no way that any card grading company, *ESP ONE THAT JUST OPENED LIKE CSG*, could have ever forseen what was about to happen to the rest of the grading companies once PSA shut their doors down to everything but $300 and up. Be honest with yourself. CSG was *just* getting off the floor (yes, I know they have CGC but that is an entirely separate entity) and then literally millions of cards that would have been sent to PSA flooded other grading companies. There was ZERO way they could have known what was going to happen unless the CEO of PSA hit up the other grading companies and was like, "Yo, staff up." So your complaints about CSG fall on deaf ears to me bc I haven't had one complaint with them. They are way, WAY over the TAT for my other 4 bulk orders but I literally don't give a bc from the beginning they've always said it's an ESTIMATED turnaround time and I'm paying 10/card to get graded so who f*cking cares? B) I have had numerous interactions with cust servc from CSG and they've always been amazing. They could def stand to improve some things, but again, THEY JUST STARTED as a company. There are going to be bumps in the road, new trainees that need to get caught up, people that ::GASP:: make mistakes even!!! You and everyone else that is literally sh*tting your pants about an area where they are legally covered from every angle need to stop whining and just take your business elsewhere. With a 141-day TAT for their bulk orders right now I'd say they probably won't miss you, and believe me, as someone who worked in customer service call centers in my younger days the call center reps at CSG will be MORE than glad for you to not call in anymore. You kinda sound like a Karen, a real "lemme talk to your manager" type. I'm going to keep grading with CSG bc they have been nothing but awesome with me, regardless of how long they are taking. Stop sending in cards you can't emotionally handle being without.
  16. I think that is so dumb. Not saying you are wrong, but why would people who are going to make 10-30/card be complaining when they are the ones who are sending in thousands of cards that literally cause the backlog? I, admittedly, am one of those people. I open my fair share of hobby boxes and CSG's low price for grading per card is a great way to make some money off lower tiered cards, but my god I would never think to complain about turnaround times, mostly bc I'm not sending in cards i can't afford to live without. The way that most people react on here you'd think their freaking lives were riding on the line bc they hadn't gotten their cards back. It's insane.
  17. SGC's card holders are all the same size as long as you are sending in standard sized cards, so if any of them are sliding around it's more than likely you simply had a smaller card in there, but not so small they considered it altered. Same thing with any grading company.
  18. I do remember it being quite a bit, which is fine bc it was a bulk order, but don't recall how long exactly, sorry. Couldn't have been more than a month and a half or two, though based on the timeline.
  19. I don't have a pic of the 10s together tbh and most of them I've already put in my safe to keep forever. I can give you a rough breakdown tho. Luis Roberts RC x 2 Randy Arozarena RC x3 Yordan Alvarez RC x2 Wander Franco 1st Bowman Chrome + Chrome Sapphire both got 10s Fernando Tatis Jr. x3 Ronald Acuna Jr x4 Kyle Lewis Bowman Chrome Refractor x2 So I'm definitely happy. I have 4 more orders in at CSG with all types of different cards, so I'm exited to get them back!
  20. Hey everyone, hope everyone is doing fine. I wanted to report on a 114-card bulk order that I got back very recently from CSG. There are too many different card types to name individually but they are mostly modern to ultra modern, mostly RCs, mostly baseball - think Luis Robert, Acuna Jr, Wander etc etc. Also Tony Hawk :-) Out of 114 cards I got: 18 CSG 10s 78 CSG 9.5s 10 CSG 9s 4 CSG 8.5s 4 CSG 8s I was surprised by how many 10s and 9.5s I got tbh bc from what I've seen on eBay there are a lot of 9s and below, and CSG definitely seems to be one of the tougher graders out there. Ive graded with a handful of companies now and I will absolutely keep grading with CSG. I don't mind the wait for bulk bc this is stuff that would be just sitting around in my chest at home, so now I can turn some really desirable cards for ppl in the hobby into some profit and use that to put into cards that I want to buy and then keep for myself. This was my very first order with CSG. I sent it in in March and got the order back the week of July 21st (Ive been busy so just now getting this up). Again, I don't mind the wait for bulk bc I use it to essentially take all my more desirable players' RCs (I usually open about 5-6 hobby boxes per year + buy lots on eBay) and flip them and use that profit towards cards that I want for my PC. If anyone has any questions just hmu in this thread and I'll answer what I can.
  21. You and everyone else are reading incorrectly what the admin said. When they typed out "...when our receivers scan in the submission packages and that scan updates in our system" they are telling you exactly what it says on the submission page, just in another way. They're saying to you that they take the package when it's received and they then scan that package, thus updating it into their system. This is just the first time it gets entered into the system, which is different than scanning it for research, etc. Trust me, as someone who has gotten their package back before the through-date every single time, it's from the day they receive the package. I have also confirmed this with someone on the phone, as well. I will admit, though, the admin here could have worded that a bit better.
  22. Are you 14 years old or something? You clearly have no idea how grading works, esp if you paid 125 to get that graded. YOU don't set the price that it sells for. The market does. That's why I'm saying your asking price is stupid, esp after the price of cards has come down now. You can get a PSA 9 of this for $40. It's your funeral.
  23. How do you know this is what's happened? To me it just sounds like they got avalanched when PSA stopped taking submissions and are trying their best to hire of people to catch up. It literally says on the site that times are estimates only and that clause alone gives them all the flexibility in the world. I know it sucks but you just gotta roll with it. Your order is not lost, it's just delayed. Everyone is going through this with them.
