  1. I had 1973 Gran Torino with only 41k miles until my little brother wrecked it. Surprisedly it ran great before it was suddenly gone to the junkyard.
  2. Please grade this book... Much appreciated!
  3. This reminds me of...."Spider-man" recuses Thai boy.
  4. CGC = Lexus (same as usual) CBCS = 1970's to 1980's Ford car (any model) PGX = Yugo
  5. That Zip Code is Elk Grove Village next to O'Hare airport. Chicago has 94 different zip codes. It's tough to find it.
  6. I checked with Wiki...Felix the Cat was first appearance in Feline Follies movie (1919) then I tried to find more information about the first appearance in the comic book but it started on the comic strip in 1923. Somewhere in 1920's, the comic book featured Felix the Cat. First appearance in the comic book.
  7. They are like..... Rub-a-dub-dub, Three men in a tub, And who do you think they be? The butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker, And all of them out to sea (they forgot or forego to pay you).
  8. I always love Neal Adams' work but his signature is STILL uncharacterized.
  9. She and her brother are now together again in Heaven. I always love and admire her best cover art for years.....
  10. Three non-paying bidders? That is too much strain!
  11. Franzetta's signature is very artistic and sweet. I would not tell if it's Neal Adams' signature. His signature is unbalanced -- first name is smaller than his last name.
  12. How much do you have experience in grading?
  13. Steve Dikto reminded me of my late uncle. He didn't want to do anything with his family for the will after his mother was passing away. He told them that he didn't want anything from the will. After my grandfather was gone, he became more isolated and out of touch with us. I hadn't seen or heard of him for 15 years after sorting out on the will until his body was found inside the trailer by the police after few complaints about the strong odor. His body was advanced state of decomposition. His funeral was the most saddened moment in my life. He never married or had children. He had one relationship with the young oriental for five years but she left him in a long time ago before his mother's death. He never wrote a will for his family. I heard that his estate was in 6 figures worth but I don't know where his money went to. I guess the isolation makes the life harder.
  14. That explained why he called himself an ultimate (literally extreme) picker. He may change his mind at last minute about my book's condition and I canceled the order without a word. I won't leave him the feedback. Stay neutral between us. What a scary! My feedback is (hopefully) still intact.
  15. I didn't attend the shows -- conflicted with schools on the first week. I only managed to trade comic books outside of the convention at the hotel. The dealer told me that few people showed up on Thursday and Friday. How's about today?
  16. I thought you were a religious person and I am now seeing your dark side.
  17. The book is traded at Chicago Comic Show. You may see it at the show. Now this thread is closed. Thank you.
  18. He is my inspiration all in my life. I missed him. RIP Russ Heath.
