  1. It's interesting. Sandman #1 was printed in 1974 ahead of ASM #143 by one year. Both have similar problem in color printing except the low distribution for Sandman #1 --- ASM never had a single low distribution. Census showed 730 graded regular Sandman #1 and 56 graded Sandman #1 purple variant then mere 279 graded ASM #143 (out of averaged 273,773 prints per month in 1975).
  2. Go watch Barney on youTube. It will make you a kid again. (actually it was perfect for my son who is now 12 years old). I survived Barney, Thomas and his Friends and My Little Pony.
  3. Maybe his insurance company claimed it. Nicholas bought it for only $10,000!!!
  4. Nicholas Cage's three stolen treasured comic books were covered by the insurance company but I tried to find who claimed Action Comics #1 after ComicConnect confirmed Cage's book. I found nothing. Do you have any idea of who claimed the book before it was sold on ComicConnect few years ago?
  5. We had Storage Wars (Action Comics #1 is real. LAPD confiscated it. The guy who found it committed suicide), Pawn Stars (Greg Reece was in that show - I am sure it is staged) and now American Pickers.
  6. You must be scared of the restoration after you spent thousand dollars which is normal.
  7. I never went to SDCC. It's hard to get three or four day passes online. I heard too many ruthless attendees and that place is always overcrowded. Anywhere around SDCC is pricey. That is what I heard.
  8. One more thing....they never returned two blank variant comic books to me. That was my little loss. They are nice people but their organization is messy.
  9. I live in USA and already have several printing companies and one in Canada - it is my first time doing this. Do you have recommendations for the comic book printing in USA and Canada? Your information is invaluable to me. Thanks!
  10. Yep, I gave up on DWC in 2013 because they told me that I owed them $210. I always sent them checks that are easy to trace the payments. I still don't understand why I still owed them money. Not worthy my time.
