Thanks Jeffro and Batmiesta. I've been looking for a high grade raw for 4 years. I have liked the cover of this book since I bought my beater copy 35 years ago as a kid.

You can order boxes from Gerber that all of their bags/boards will fit in. Personally I think the Gerber boxes are superior to others I've used. I use magazine size boxes to store my books that are in 775's. They fit like a charm.

I don't think anyone is offended. Afterall, they were your books, you are entitled to do what you wish with them. Hopefully, they were miswrapped copies.

It's a tough book period. But, there are still a lot of BA collections out there, and by it's nature (even with the internet) it is a very personal and private affair. This is the one book I have never found in 9.4+ in any DC/Batman centric collection I have picked up. The main Batman issues (227, 232, 234, 251, etc.) and Tec issues (395, 400) are easy to land in high grade, but the post-400 Tec books tend to be hit and miss condition wise in the collections. Tec #405 (1st League of Assassins) is another tough book in high grade (9.4+). They are out there. I bought two beautiful raw copies out of OO collections over the past 10 years. One slabbed out 9.8 white and the other in my collection is 9.4/9.6. Still haven't found a 9.4+ Tomahawk 116 though. Now that's a tough Adams book in true NM or better. Kept this one since the 9.8 had a miswrap. Drool worthy.

Just looks like the listing ended, not that it sold. Best Offer sold for: $1,675.00. Double what the last 9.4 sold for less than 6 months ago.

Simply stunning and best of all, raw.

MJ's are pretty sought after. ASM MJ's are more sought after. MJ's are hard to get in 9.8. THrow in a well know reputable seller, and you've got a good recipe. I've never understood why Sparkle City raws sell for so much. The grades stated on many of their raws are overstated, all IMO of course.

That's just silly. And I love the book. I'd hate to be the person holding the hot potato when the bottom falls out.
