The more important issue is how the seller handled his thread and potential customer.

Regardless it's over. I'll buy another copy sole other day.

It's true and it's a hot modern right now. Waiting would be the smart thing to do.

It's more on the basis that he ran a horrible sales thread and his attitude stinks.

I posted an I will take it when the OP posted that 1 copy was left for sale.

 

I claimed it and then PMd the OP for his PP address to pay.

 

He then informs me

 

"Sorry man, my thread never said " " would equal instant transaction, only discussions via PMs. The book in question was 'sold' over the weekend. I'm just waiting for payment. If I don't get payment soon I have about 3-4 other buyers waiting in line via PM."

 

Since no rules were in place about how to claim a book I am confused what is going on.

 

I feel I am entitled to purchase a copy and receive it.

 

What do you think?

The highlighted portion of his statement makes no sense and is in direct contradiction to this post on Monday April 7th at 6:25pm

Yes it's based on time stamps and proper written rules in your sales thread. I've done probably a hundred deals on here and never had this one happen.

I blame the OP but if the forum thinks the decision is in the OPs favor, I understand.

personally, the artwork on this one was horrid...I couldn't tell who was who half the time. I was like, when did Rick get a pony tail.

I agree. The story was excellent but the art was horrible. I thought three different people were rick.

I had a hard time accepting that it was Bob at the opening scene... because he was a bad- then.

I want to take this opportunity to announce something amazing that has happened to my collection.

 

I have finally obtained a WD #100 Hero Initiative Book!!!!!

 

 

I can't begin to say how grateful and lucky I am to have gotten this in my collection. It feels like that piece of OA that gets away, knowing there is only one of it. But this is different cause it's a book and a piece of OA. Double goodness.

 

Jonathan Wayshak is an amazing artist along with all the others. His style is the type of art I love the most, dark and gritty, lots of textures.

 

I want to thank the man who has made all this happen for me Mr. James. Thank you kind sir you truly are a gentleman!! (thumbs u

 

How this all went down was an amazing event all it's own. And in saying that, I want to do something good for the next WD collector. I have compiled a small little WD package that I will be GIVING AWAY FREE for the WD collector in need of some WD material for their own collection. I don't know how to approach this as of yet, but it will be happening within the next day or so.

 

These forums have given so much and their truly is amazing people still left in this world.
