Thanks! I have a soft spot for #1 pages...but only to a point. If values are out-of-whack, I'll gladly take a later page for less. For this particular page, I can't say if it was a steal or no-brainer. But compared to what a #1 9.9 goes for, and where brand new pages are priced...this was an OK value, relatively speaking.

Very tasteless on images part IMO. Thank you Hero for letting me take part in your auction of the very limited release of 105 WD Hero issue 100 covers and thank you image for making it more like 250 released by sliding them out the back door.

 

Sorry to hear that but...enough complaining about it. We get it...you bought many of the covers and now feel taken advantage and misled.

I think if you were to try to sell your many hero covers...you would do quite well in the proceedings. my heart bleeds for you. Cmon...

I could own the original art drawn by Adi Granov for that avengers set but the cost is enormous.

I loved the episode and since I am a comic reader, I knew Rick wasn't dead.

My friends who don't read the comic were freaking out because they really though Rick was dead.

I purchased WD1-100 first prints and the Retailer Appreciation variant back in October for 3k. In your guys opinion was this a good price or did I over pay. Each issue is 9.4 or better.

 

It all really depends on issues #1 and #2. If those two grade at a 9.8, 3-100 can be garbage and you'll still easily make out. I've bought and sold a few larger runs of at least 1-48, and how good of a deal it is is pretty dependent on just those two books graded.

They will not have a 50% off sale on those slabs. I will be shocked if that happens.

No, they don't offer any sales like that to my knowledge.

Those books will sit there for quite a while at those prices...but then again Metro deals with such other big ticket books this is a drop in the bucket.

The writing is grease pencil and CGC most likely did not take that into account for your grade. That's a common issue on comics as they arrived at shops back then.
