There needs to be a 'Moderns that are heating up on ebay! - No Discussion' thread. Links there, butthurt here. Just do what I do and use the ignore user function, it's great. Batman Adventures 12 continues to sell at higher prices. Yes I know the book is 20 years old and not exactly readily available, but it can be found for cheap in back issue stock both online and in your lcs. In what world?!? It has been YEARS since I found one anywhere that would be considered moderately cheap . I've found two recently...one online and one locally. Wow. Kudos to you!

At least 9.4, probably 9.6 you can do a search on ebay and see it.

Picked up a Sixth Gun 1 for $6.99 at my LCS Wed and just sold it on ebay for $109.99 in under 30 minutes!

Did you read any of the background on those comics? Pretty dark stuff: Supes kills Lois Lane and his unborn kid after being drugged by the Joker....he's convinced she's Doomsday.....pretty nuts....and that's the jump off for the video game. I gotta say, I typically agree that video game comics blow.....but this entire premise and backstory seem a bit different...with larger ramifications for the DC universe titles. I thought in the game that Joker levels Metropolis with a nuke, killing Lois and their son unborn son, and then Supes kills Joker. Is the comic plot completely different? If Supes kills Lois in the comic, I'm going to pick one up today and read it!

I still pull those as well as 6s out of dollar and cheaper boxes on a semi-regular basis.

How many people went straight to google "viperdays ebay"? I know I did! In fairness to him, he did sell 3 Batman Inc 8s!

If you were going to try and stock up on Phil Coulson first appearances in the normal comtimuity, what would you grab? The Battle Scars 1 were "Cheese" debuts and is the first appearance of Marcus Johnson/Fury or Battle Scars 6 which reveals "Cheese" to be Phil Coulson? My LCS probably has 40 copies of #1 in their $1 box.

I'm doing a show next weekend where Francavilla is the only guest there (small deal in Charleston, SC) so I picked up a few of these today to sell for people to get signed/get signed myself. OOPS! I didn't notice that 7 of the 20 were already signed. Apparently leftovers from an in-store signing and I left another 40+ on the shelf (not sure how many of the ones I left may have been signed).

I just can't understand people paying money for Previews magazine. Seems like the biggest stretch imaginable.

I am but he's gone. I flipped the 6 of the final 17 to a friend who only needs a handful to have all of the vintage figs loose.

It was outside and generally worthless. Some of the parts will be worth saving though. Probably throw the shell away as it is broken anyway.

Seeing and selling are two different things. Dealers sometimes are just clueless. I mean I know the book is doing well, but that's just stupid. Aree wholeheartedly. I've seen the same dealer the last two months at cons with a really nice copy on his wall that he can't move for $20.

I sold out of all my copies TO DEALERS at $10 a pop at the 1/20 Heroes MiniCon. Not a bad return on under $3.

What was the print run? I would have thought it to be fairly large.

I was ale to pick up Sixth Gun 1-3 (they had the full run), Nowhere Men 2, Saga 5 for 50 cents over cover today as well as Todd the Ugliest Kid x2 at my LCS today. Yay me!

Gimmick covers. Deaths. Insane prices day of release. Combing newsstands to find the hot books (i.e. DD21, Star Wars 1, etc). It's the 90s all over again!

Anyone ever seen pages from Brave & Bold 129 and 130 by Jim Aparo being offered? They are two issues featuring Green Arrow, Two-Face, and Joker.
