Yep.....Hardcore is officially dead. I cant even sell mine for $5 in my sales thread!!

Agreed on the availability of Hardcore 1. Neither of my LCS had it and I drove 30 miles North and one of the two shops in town had 6 copies (I bought 5). The next day I drove 30 miles South and none there either. PS I didn't drive there just for Hardcores. It was my monthly out of town jaunt.

Nothing. He has a permanent spot inside. I generally skip his place because it's always the same stuff. I dug through every box and picked anything good.

i think you can block zero feedback bidders (or maybe you used to be able to?) You can't. The highest feedback you can block is -1. You can also block bidders who have 2 or more unpaid item strikes in the last month but that's it. No more zero blockage. You can, however, cancel their bids and add them to your blocked bidder list (which is what I generally do if they look untrustworthy).

I found these two beauts today at a local flea market. The Thanos Quest cost me $2 and the last issue of GI Joe was a whopping 50 cents. Best part was that I totally missed the 50 cent boxes and the guy told me " I got some 50 cent boxes under the table over there but most of it is no count." I don't know if that is a southern-only expression but it means nothing is any good in there. I also pulled a GI Joe 144, 145, and 150 out plus a Moby Duck 19, and Infinity Gauntlet 5. I called my buddy who is a Joe collector and he immediately offered me $45 for the 155 and I took it. I know they're generally more on ebay but he's a friend! I even told him what I paid

I drove 30 minutes to a nearby town with 2 comic shops as my 2 locals are completely wiped out (and not by me). Shop 1 puts all recent issues in $1 boxes after 3 months or so. I pulled 6 copies of WD 93, WD 94, 2 Hell Yeah 1, and a Fatale 2 out. Shop 2 yielded nada except 5 copies of Hardcore. Tomorrow is 30 minutes in the other direction!

Picked up Infinity Gauntlet set today for $10 and Thanos Quest for $5 at my local flea where a guy has a permanent "comic shop". Also bought Gauntlet 1x4 and 3x3 out of .50 box for the hell of it.

Put together this box of mostly Transformers today at a garage sale. Some have missing or broken pieces but for a quarter each I wasn't inspecting anything too close. I was basically just grabbing from miscellaneous boxes and making a full one for stuff I wanted. I am way too old and way to uneducated to even begin how to transform them or try to pretend I know who 99% of them are. Thankfully, there are ID sites for pretty much all toy lines now so it may be time consuming, but I'll find out all their names.

All 3 of my LCS have Popeye 1 on the shelf including the Action 1 swipe.

This one came from the flea market for $50. She didnt want to sell it but luckily, some guy came by between my laps and bought all the drek she had in it. This one came from Craigslist for $80.

Especially the ones 1) with Kirkman's name on them and/or 2) optioned by television stations but 3) DEFINITELY BOTH!

Fun little anecdote about a deal between one of my local LCS owners just an hour ago. I went hoping that the Thief of Thieves 2s I saw yesterday were 1st prints (I didnt look very close then....and they weren't). I asked the owner if he had any second print #1s lying around as now I just want to read an ish and see what all the hubbub is about. He acted surprised he didn't have any on the wall, checked his PC and went to his boxes behind the curtain underneath his back issue boxes. He proceded to pull out 3 FIRST PRINTS and said I could have one for cover price. He laid the other two behind the counter. I asked how much he was going to charge for those and his response "probably $5.99". Obviously I said I;d take them. He gave me the suspicious look and said "well I haven't looked them up yet so I'm not positive how much they are." I responded by telling him I was very interested in purchasing them at a fair price to both of us. He asked what they were bringing and I told him I passed on them for $25 (which I did as Chuck has two in his sales thread as I type this). His response was, "I guess I'd let them go for $9.99 each if you bought them both." Obviously I bought them. Three copies for $24 and some change. He was basically finding money he didn't know he had and I was still getting a great deal. I thought this pretty well summarized the earlier posts about suspicious dealers when multiple issues are bought or specific items asked for. Sorry for the rambling.....it was amusing to me.

Web of Spiderman 118. Now THAT's what this thread is for! I never would have guessed in a million years that it mattered at all. I was able to get 6 copies out of various sources for $1 or less ea this week. Now gotta flip them fast before the market crumbles! =)

I realize that I've contributed to the WD discussion in here but there really needs to be a "Moderns not named Walking Dead that are heating up on eBay!" thread.

I have two comic shops in my town and there isn't a single issue of WD anywhere. No new issues, back issues, Image Firsts, NOTHING.

I have my 49-84 up right now. Started them out at $7.99 ea with free shipping. My question is what is the deal with 53? I know nothing about Walking Dead, but was aware that 61/63 were Chew books. Why is 53 $20? PS I bought these for a quarter a pop last fall at a swap and shop event at my LCS. YAY ME!

I dont know if anyone posted this yet, but Amazon has the new IDW HC sketchbook for $31.18 shipped. Regular retail is $50. I couldnt justify twice the price for the SDCC so I ordered this one.
