Just picked up two NM copies in the dollar bin at a lcs. Ditto except for one copy in a 3/$1.

Is the complete Winter Soldier story worth buying, or just #14? I snagged that one at a LCS today, but they had the rest of the storyline as well. If cover price, why not. It is also a good read. Unfortunately, they are asking for above cover at $5 apiece. I snagged the #6 they had for $5.50, and will ask on boxing day if they have more copies in the back of #6 and #14. Are there any other books from that run that are worth snagging? 6 and 14 are the only ones worth giving $5 on.

How are the spines? 4 had a pretty bad print run. They're not 9.8 but they're not less than 9.2 either. Fairly solid. The variants are better.

Sometimes it pays to be a procrastinator and completely unorganized. I bought these 8 months ago for $25 at a show in Greenville on a hunch. Today, they're one of the hottest books going, bringing $15 for the regular and $25 for the variant! I found them buried in a box while trying to get ready for the 12/16 Charlotte show. Yay me!

This should definitely belong in the speculation thread, though I hope it's Battle Scars 1 that will do the jumping as I've been hoarding those at $1 ea and less.

Also sld a copy of Green Wake 7 to the underbidder at $40 via Second Cance Offer. Good thing for me as the next bid was only $23.50!

That's actually my Green Wake on ebay he linked to. I am just trying to educate people who may have paid $15+ for Mondo simply because they thought it was first appearance of PP. If that's the only reason that Mondo is a hot book, then it's all based on bunk.

I just put one on ebay so we'll see how it works out as it's the only one on there. Oddly enough someone (not me) bought out every copy on ebay mere hours after this first notice was posted. I was able to pick up two copies on another site for $5 shipped total. Should be fun if for no other reason than to make the people who bought Mondo 1 just for PP freak out!

Where would I find the print runs of smaller Image titles like Green Wake 7 and Mondo 1? I looked on ComicChron to no avail.

Picked up a complete set of Transformers 1-80 this morning for $40!

Decent day for me at a shop I hit about once a month. Hawkeye 2 x3 at cover, Chew 29 variant for $6, Chew 12, 13, 15-20 for $1 each and for purely selfish reasons Batman 0 blanks x3 for cover.

One actually sold for $30 with a BIN a few weeks ago.

I've see a few people list Spidey 2099 on this list. Even if it is indeed Miguel who is the new Spidey, what do you guys think the number 1 (his origin) would reach. Is it ever going to be a $5 book?!? I can pick up dozens of copies at $1 but am very hesitant to do so.

Seriously? You guys are going to speculate on books that go up $1.50 in price? All you have to do is buy 1000 copies!
