  1. That is an awesome accomplishment!!!!
  2. The only GA I have is the early Superboys I needed to finish the run. Other than that, I focus on silver or later.
  3. I love silver age Archie's, I'm not an avid collector, but I have a few. There are other Archie's with "double entendres", the Betty and Me 16 isn't my favorite among them. I have had a low grade beater (pun intended) for years, I never really went looking for a higher graded copy. It isn't rare or even scarce, it just has higher demand than typical Archie's of the period.
  4. Is that a Cairn Terrier (Toto) nipping at his heel?
  5. Unless my math if off I am now 56/98 or 57% complete. I Need 12 issues to have 38-98...which might be about as good as I can expect, earlier issues are so difficult to find, and there are a coupe of us actively seeking them. Oh well, the journey is the destination!
  6. Can't believe Comic-Con was a week ago... S& S 47:
  7. This is actually my second copy of this issue, my first was a real beater. I generally liked the time travel stories, although now they are pretty corny!
  8. I can't bring myself to sell this one, I have never seen another like it!
  9. You're right, that is a cool book. I personally really liked the reprint issues, they were usually good stories with a few nice bonus features thrown in.
  10. Happy to report thanks to Dale at SDCC I have a couple of additions to ad to project Sugar and Spike, they aren't slabbed, but they are really nice. Will post scans soon!
  11. A year or two after planet of the apes, ape cover remained popular. I'm pretty sure you could do a whole thread on the topic.
  12. Those cover similarities can't be a coincidence, that's pretty cool. Tarzan coming over to DC was a pretty big deal at the time.
  13. I loved getting those, learned so much about the hobby there. My earliest issue is number 4.
  14. Plus it's a Neal Adams, one of his better Superboy covers. You should check out the story, it's a good one for the time.
