  1. I like the visit 15 idea.....I figure I may go higher or lower just to look like a super stalker! Just have to make sure to mix up my real person somewhere in there!
  2. I love them very much! I just can't find a high grade copy of World of Wood that's affordable!
  3. Didn't it though? I've been reading it off and on and thought the same.
  4. Gotta say that was an interesting choice!
  5. Made a couple of more adjustments to the prices, at this point, make me an offer. You might be surprised!
  6. Ok, a couple have moved to Ebay but everything else still available is 10% off. I will be closing this up soon. Thanks!
  7. Wow, books I've hardly ever seen. This thread was incredible to look through!
  8. Closest thing to a serious answer I would give is diversify. Go after a lot of first appearances of superheroes that likely will be next up to star in a movie/tv show. Grab keys from the GA/SA eras that have done nothing but climb. Buy a couple of collections just so you have something to play with You will have a lot of things that lose some value but those should be offset by a few that gain.
  9. Really weird, but I've had that Wonder Woman for months and available here. All of a sudden I got two offers for it in the same day. Ronald paid first so he gets it! I do have a second copy that I offered to the second person that is still a 9.8, I'm just not as serious about letting that one go now that I'm down to one!
  10. Just from my own experiences, in selling and buying, I know a lot of people skip the GPA all-together and just price books in the ballpark of what is on Ebay. Most of the time those prices are "negotiable" which is why you see price cut, after price cut. As for the contributing to the boards portion of the discussion, I think a lot of people find these boards and think to themselves "oh great! a place to sell my stuff and not have to pay fees to ebay!". It will work for some, but with so much competition for the front page at times, a lot of these people will move on. Then there are those like me that read these boards on a daily basis, but only occasionally comment. I like to look at the pretty books
  11. Yes. There will be people that are getting the signatures for the pure motive of resell. After Celebrity Authentics offered the SS 9.8 books for $300 and now they are more than double that, everyone sees it as easy money.
  12. Harley Quinn 24 CGC SS 9.6 - signed by Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmioti, and Paul Dini - $75
  13. Amazing Spider-man 365 CGC SS 9.2 - signed by Mark Bagley - $65 $55 (get it pressed and sell it for $100)
  14. If the ACE signing goes off without a hitch I think you might see a slight fall in the short-term, but fully expect the book to continue to climb. At this point I think the blue label 9.8 is going to become the "rarer" of the two because the bulk of the convention edition from WonderCon are now Signature series. Check out the prices of the blue labels on Ebay (and yes I do have one for sale here on the boards, lol).
  15. Escape from Wonderland #1 CGC 9.6 - the first of the Zenescope football cover craze - $30 $25
  16. Destroyer Duck #1 - 1st appearance of Groo the Wanderer - CGC SS 9.0 Sergio Aragones and Steve Leialoha (not credited on the label, but worked on the book) - $125
