Yeah, I think it's a product of the forum these days. A lot of the facilitators do their thing by group PM so a lot of people don't check regularly the threads anymore. We used to see all kinds of people posting sketches all the time, but even that seems to have died down. Maybe we can work on building that back up...

Going to pretty much close shop here too. Looks like I got at least one large trade worked out and if anyone saw anything they were interested it, I have moved all these to a WTT thread in the "Want to buy" forum. Thanks to all that participated!

So it's been a while since we've had a trade weekend, and it looks like we have at least a few people that would like to participate so let's plan on the weekend of January 5th-7th. The idea is to simply list books that you would be willing to trade and others will post the items they would like to trade and hopefully a few people will give some books a new home! The timeline is by no means a hard-fast time, but try to have your trade items posted by this weekend to give everyone the chance to see whatcha got! No real "set" rules or way to do it, list your books - some people like to put a rough idea of the value of each book, or you can simply leave it for the negotiating which is typically done via private message. Any questions, just ask. Someone will jump in Reserve yourself a spot and good luck with your trades!

Unless Disney thinks every person that reads Buffy is suddenly going to take those dollars and start reading Spider-man I don't see how it makes sense to them to completely shut Dark Horse down. Now a Disney "takeover" of the remaining characters/licensing agreements/assets in general might be another conversation all together.
