So 'technically' yours should tick over to Scheduled for Grading status tmw? (...and I thought BGS was slow) If it was only those 4 books that im waiting, it wouldnt faze me as much. But ive also got a couple of commission ops and 2 SS books that im on. Im relatively new to collecting books, but just finding it frustrating to spend a mess load of coin with no tangible assets to show for it. Same here Business day 14 of my 15-day coupon submission - quality control since Friday (day 13) For clarity, the sub was received 10/15 They have some hurrying-up to do is all I can say. I have a modern sub I am going to put in soon, but I need this sub back to sell so I can pay for the next one... -slym Exactly. I think they have something like 80 books of mine right now. I can't afford to send them anything else!

alrighty, I can follow a 7.0 with a 7.0.... (and the grade is totally my fault. I dropped it right before handing it to the Bionic Woman ) I think it needs to pay a visit to Joe to fix that. Couldn't believe it but this is the only SS copy out there.

I just started working on my Stargate books - I'll have a couple of quad-signed original team ones sometime next year If everything holds true to form and Shanks shows up at DragonCon, hopefully I will too. :thumbsup:

So is it a boardie that has the random issues graded up on Ebay? I keep seeing issues that don't necessarily all go together and was wondering if maybe someone subbed a bunch of the series at once or something.

I think that a mass movement of what was in graded moved to quality control because I've got one as well that has been there all week.

:: far from it! It's taken me three years of getting one signature a year at DragonCon to get the three I have on my book. I just thought surely by now....but I have yet to see one with all four.

Is there not a single Stargate book out there that has all four of the original SG1? I find that hard to believe. GORGEOUS books!

I bet if you got this slabbed you could put it on Ebay as a 1 of 1 collectors item and sell it for $100 based on it's ultra rare-ness in any grade. Just don't try to go into any explanation why no one else has gotten it graded. ::

Well, I never did find an unsigned copy so I went ahead and sent in my Campbell. The registry points on even a qualified 9.8 are ridiculous!

Give me another week or so and I'll post the grade on mine that's coming back from CGC....

Mixed bag really. Every submission I send in I send at least one or two from the seven long boxes I have of my personal books. I usually send an order of between 15 - 30 books every month and then there are the months where I go to conventions too where it piles even higher. Most books I purchase are either undervalued in my opinion, or on my personal collection list (which really isn't a list as much as a spreadsheet). The ones not on my personal "keepers" list usually provide additional money to fund the more expensive keepers. Some of those even eventually turn into sales in order to fund whales and so on. The idea is to eventually sell every comic except for a small selection which I will figure out a secure way of displaying and that way I can enjoy them all the time and when it's finally time for me to check out I will donate one to my school, two each will go to my kids and the other five I will instruct my wife how to sell.

So when is the next trade weekend?
