I keep seeing conflicting answers on this. Is it possible there were two versions of the red box? How else do you explain some people having an un-autographed version of the Chromium cover and some with multiple sigs? Personally I have never seen the multiple sigs book but I have seen the blank chromium. I've never purchased a red box so I can't say what was in it.

I think I have gotten a little less picky with the books I don't have yet. Willing to pick up 9.6 copies for a steal of a deal just to fill the spot until I can get a 9.8 upgrade. Even with that mentality I still find myself only buying them randomly and at larger and larger intervals of time.

I still comb ebay every once in a while to see what's out there but I think I'm settling in a bit myself. I still have a ton of books that need to be added, but I'm just doing it one at a time and not straining the wallet.

Heading too close to the bottom.....has everyone settled in on their Dave collection or is it just SDCC?

:: I just got a 9.8 #1 back in from CGC last week. I guess that puts me in the club but somehow I don't think anyone will be holding the door for me like they will newshane with that application!

Totally agree that this should help out DC tremendously now that all ties have been severed. I have a feeling though they will be paying Ed at least an even $1 million to go away.

Yep. They did a whole Fairchild as Supergirl kind of thing. Even has a J Scott Campbell cover on one of them.

I'm not on a strike anymore so you can't just take shots at me with impunity. Why don't you go dry clean your Aaron Hernandez jersey? Probably sold it. Those things are getting crazy money.

He's using it in the context of AC's explanations for his delay in doing the art - any of which are believeable to a certain point. After months upon months of delays, the sympathy and understanding you generate from strangers if your dog/cat/parakeet dies, brother/sister/barber gets in an auto accident, wife/dog/mother has a questionable personal relationship goes out the window. AC used it as a crutch to explain why he wasn't producing, and now the time has long since passed and it leaves everyone to question the validity of his excuses, and any excuse that happens after that. I don't see how it causes any sort of problem, and it definitely paints a picture of AC's professional ethics. Better way of putting it. :thumbsup:

agree I'm on the list of people waiting, and even I agree with this.

He owes me $100 from 10/15/11 at the NYC Con. After a few succesfull and not delayed transactions with AC (see my sig line), he offered to grab an MK sketch from Alex Meleev whom he was sharing a table with at NYC. I of course jumped on that and sent him the $100. On 10/17/12 I got this PM after inquiring about the book A FULL YEAR LATER. . I never got a refund or the book, and any acknowledgement of any PM's sent since then. Oct. 24, 2012 - 1 commission still owed. Add me to the list.

So interesting magazine came registered mail today back from CGC. Mickey Mouse Magazine V3 #4 CGC 4.0 ..... is this the first appearance of Snow White since it says on the label "Snow White and the Seven Dwars serial begins. On stands before release of movie."

That's what I'm talking about... Pure genius! See now I was going to say something about this book coming from the original collection of Carl Malden and he gave it 2 out of 4 stars and somebody comes up with that. I bow to your writing prowess.

Pretty sure you are right. That was never "published" until the big book last year right?

I've thought about sending them in and requesting NG but just haven't done it.
