I got back into the hobby, after a few years out of it. I saw these slabbed books on E-Bay and wanted to learn more about them. I looked at the other company first and then CGC. Then I found the message boards. Hooked me like crack.

They should buy the book back. Trim it themselves. Put it in a purple label. Then all would know for certain.

I'm sorry you paid $350 for a raw 6.0 IM 55. Yeah, they describe it as "Higher grade" I'd return it as item not as described as soon as that bad boy arrives and chalk this whole thing up as a lesson learned. This. (thumbs u How can you return it as item not described if it has no restoration? If it does have resto the a return seems reasonable. They coined it as Higher grade, what's that? 7.5-10 This is a Mid grade book. Maybe it was a higher grade than the other copies he has to sell?

Wouldn't it be simpler to add them the regular PL, instead of creating a new one, and adding a comment that it was a PIF violation? It is done that way for off the board deals involving board members.

Picked these up yesterday. Looks better than it does in hand. Has a subscription crease that doesn't really show in the scan. Has a stain on the B. Otherwise a very nice presenting copy.

Just got my 3/11/13 Modern submission in the mail yesterday.

I have a copy I picked up for cheap because it is cover less. Still, a GL 76 is a GL 76.
