  1. I could probably grab one for you on Wednesday. My LCS had a lot of them, so, they should still have some.
  2. You sound so much better when you are not rambling in the 3rd person.
  3. Cal needs to post this stuff after I get home from work. I miss too much because of work.
  4. I had a similar issue with a foreign edition of Batman The Killing Joke. The invoice showed it was a different country (Mexico) than it was (Argentina). I e-mailed them and they corrected it a couple days later.

No, it's people like you that ruin it. Creating shill account after shill account only to post comments like these. You must be a bitter and lonely old man. Try to venture out of your mom's basement once in awhile and see what the world looks like outside of your computer screen.
  6. That is truly horrible to hear. Your family is safe, that is the important thing, everything else can be replaced. I, too, would be willing to send some books your way. I am sure I don't have what you lost, but, I would be happy to help.
  7. There are a few. Depending where you will be. I am guessing you'll be on the strip? Are you driving or using cab/uber? Alternate Reality - Flamingo Road / Maryland Pkwy - Closest to the Strip - Mostly newer stock, not a huge selection of back issues. Owner is a great guy, very knowledgeable. Cosmic Comics - Flamingo Road / Sandhill Road - about 4-5 miles east of the Strip - biggest store in Vegas - big selection of back issues, pricing can be a bit on the high side - Good staff Velvet Underground - 825 South Decatur Blvd / Charleston Blvd. - Haven't been there in years, but, they used to not take credit cards. Not sure about that anymore. Dealt with them at some conventions, nice guys Celestial Comics - 9440 W Sahara Ave #170 at Fort Apache (Regal Cinema Center)- never been there, so, can't say much. Torpedo Comics - 7300 Arroyo Crossing Pkwy, Suite 105 (Rainbow /I-215) - newer store and another I haven't been to. Maximum Comics - several locations - mostly newer stuff, not much of back issue selection
  8. I've seen books with white specks before. Not sure how CGC regards them. If they are part of the cover, they could be production related.
  9. That bottom white spot looks to be in the signature. Not sure how the marker wouldn't cover that one.
  10. Why would you send in an absolutely pristine book for pressing? If the corner was was damaged in shipping then pressing cannot remove color breaks.
  11. Maybe get them a Bonsai Tree https://www.9greenbox.com/juniper-bonsai-in-japanese-pot-p/b000m646km.htm?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIxpaU_pzv1QIVU7nACh1Z2AJxEAQYBCABEgJ9MvD_BwE&Click=38&utm_source=amazonads&utm_medium=shoppingengine
  12. Well, work gets in the way. I'll take Prize #72, if it is my turn.
  13. I am getting less and less confident in CGC's grading after every round.
  14. Most insurance companies will total a car if the cost of repairs exceed 75% of the value. Based on that fact, I don't think they will total it. Cost of repairs = $5900
  15. I'll add the following to the prize list. I'll post a pic later. Batman: The Man Who Laughs CGC 9.8
