  3. I think it's too early to tell on the end of the Modern age. A new age has clearly begun but we don't really have the benefit of hindsight yet as to the cutoff point between the Modern age and the next age. As for naming, there's no official nomenclature board or anything. It's just whatever people come up with and agree upon. What inconsistencies are you referring to? If you mean the time elapsed, consider that golden age should really be broken down to include at least the atom age (50s).
  4. Is that "Frisky Fables" Fago? Interesting to see what he did away from funny animals... nice work.
  5. Yeah, I suspect that's exactly why church alternated the spines, i.e. you would never be able to create a stable 7 foot stack without doing that. Dan
  6. RJ's super hg moderns were all stacked horizontally too - vertical stacking is convenient but will create slight defects on spines and on the lower edges/corners.
  7. Nah, he alternated the spines from what I've heard.
  8. Jamie, If you have the old overstreet monthlies in your collection, look for the overstreet-published CBM #3 (or was it fan #3? - it has a dinosaur cover at any rate). It has a mini version of the 1970 guide included along with some of the original prices. Very cool, and a handy reference on the prices of 1970 keys for those of us without a copy of the 1970 guide. Dan
  9. supa, that's nothing dude. A coverless copy sold for over $70 a while back

  17. wtf are you talking about? I said you were sniping on an immortal soul (auction of which was being run by someone I called a person_who_is_obnoxiously_self-impressed). And yes, I edited my post to spark a reaction. OK, no more of this. Any more interesting eBay sales?
