  1. I never even knew these existed. I love Spiderman, I love Gwen Stacy, I love GGA. I love the CGC boards because I keep getting educated about cool comics in the hobby.
  2. If it's simply ball point pen, it can probably be carefully scraped off. If it's "bleed thru" marker..... I don't know. I think CGC was a bit harsh in giving it the purple label, because there was no attempt whatsoever to make it look good or match the "type". Someone just took a pen and filled in what the words were. It might be something you could call and ask about. However..... you still need the graders notes to find out about the tear seals.
  3. I don't see any attempt at CT on the front so the writing on the back must be it.
  4. I've been an entertainer for 35 years and have ALWAYS found work in that time. BUT you can't do gigs when no one is allowed to gather. All my gigs have cancelled until June 1st. I have 75 gigs booked in June and July & I fear that they are ALL gone. Maybe, just maybe I can start working again in August. Fingers crossed. Long story short.... I am selling comics full time right now. My low dollar stuff is doing fine and I feel like I can get by on that, but I felt the need to give myself some breathing room so I unloaded 2 of my huge key comics ($17,500 for the 2 of them). If the buyers got a great deal I am SO happy for them, I am also very happy and grateful for ME because I feel like I have some breathing room. If you've got money to spend, I'm sure there's others like me who have lost their jobs and are selling right now. I sure won't be buying anything big right now because of my personal situation.
  5. Strange Tales 158 CGC 8.5 OW-W 1st Living Tribunal $399 + $15 shipping
  6. I agree with these two. My guess without holding it in hand is.... no-trim on this one.
  7. Leave it. I'd also wager that even if you could get it off without tearing the paper, it has been there so long that it would leave a sticky residue behind and that's another headache.

  11. True, there might be a "Gold Foil" embossed Bizarro Ad edition. (Maybe hiding in Sugar & Spice)
  12. So.... the Jimmy Olsen 31 has the rare and highly valuable VARIANT FLESH COLOR BIZARRO. I wonder if the JO31 came out a week before the Superboy 67?
  13. I'm curious if Superboy 67 has the same ad.
  14. Beautiful copy my friend, but we now know the actual first "visual" appearance of Bizzaro was in Jimmy Olsen 31.
  15. House Ads like this are fascinating to me because they get aspects of the new characters wrong. What seem like "iconic characteristics" about the characters to you and me, weren't iconic at the time. Whoever made this ad didn't know who Bizarro was at the time. I think of the house ad in Top Notch 22 for a new character called "Archie". In the Ad Archie has blonde hair I think, and instead of an "R" on his sweater he has an "S".
  16. And if he tries to Hershey squirt you.... you're done.
  17. How will I ever escape from the "Licorice Lariat"??????
  18. Clever..... I see what you did there. It's actually from Jimmy Olsen 31 (start hoarding your copies). I wonder how many other DC issues had the Ad? If J.O.31 is the only one that's kind of cool.
  19. This comic looks really nice from the front. It's got a subscription crease on the back though. Whatever the highest grade a subscription comic can get, I think this one deserves.
  20. DC should add this guy to the Suicide Squad.
