  1. Yes, it's a really nice copy except for the staples. Sitting on ebay at a mere $9.99
  2. How did it even eke out a 2nd issue? They even interview him in a "letters page" type thing, hyping Joe's LONG AWAITED RETURN to DC.
  3. I've been slowly selling a collection on ebay and pulled out this comic today. A DC "Hippy" comic called "Brother Power - The Geek", written and drawn by Joe Simon (Joe must have been smokin' something good while making this one). It is seriously almost unreadable. So bad. The cover says "Here is the REAL-LIFE SCENE of the Dangers in HIPPIE-LAND". Check out the cover & an interior splash. Ridiculous.
  4. We get used to seeing smaller panels in the story telling, or maybe a splash page here and there, so to see a 2-page spread like this, especially of Good Girl Art is pretty awesome. I'm a little shocked Rima only made it 7 issues with GGA like this. Of Course Shanna the She Devil only made it to 5 issues. And Marvel's Sheena only had 2 issues.
  5. I was really struck by how good the layout/execution is for the 2-page spread and the detail work on, not only Rima, but all the little animals and such. If I could find this piece of original art I would seriously think about buying it. Kudos to Redondo.
  6. Your close-up was an extreme close up, so I imagine even if you lost a little paper.... in the scheme of thing the comic still looks quite nice. Can wee see a pic of the full cover? JIM 76 right?
  7. I think Kubert only did the cover, but it's a great cover.
  8. By "took care of the issue" you mean you removed the purple? Any issues? ....."removing the purple"... it's almost like you snapped Thanos out of existence.
  9. I know a lot of us get caught up only looking at covers only, but today I was selling a copy of Rima 1 on ebay (I've never read it) and as I was paging thru the comic to check it I discovered one heck of a nice 2 page art spread. That's some really nice GGA. i don't know who did the art but that's some good art.
  10. It is an "Apparent" 9.8. There's probably 1 tiny dot of CT on it. It would have probably been a 9.6 or 9.4 unrestored. That's an expensive little ct dot.
  11. Is the brawny buzzcut red haired guy actually patting himself on the back or wiping off dandruff?
  12. Secret Six full page panel. WTF are they all doing in the panel? It's like when the photographer tells the kids, "OK kids, make a silly pose now".
  13. This ad...... couldn't they some take a few seconds and write dialogue that would actually make kids want to tune in? "children of earth..... we are not robots.... we are the actual Batman.... Robin... and Superman units..... it is normal for us to all speak at the same time...... come.... have fun... with ussszz".
  14. "Negative. The overprint of the 10c circle does a bit though. Sorry for the rotation, damn iPhone." That's great news. The purple can probably be lightly (and carefully) scraped off. If you choose to do it yourself always do the least amount you can, and don't be aggressive. If you choose to have a resto-removal pro do it, I don't think they will have any problem with this one. Have you closely examined the rest of the cover for any other purple?
  15. DC Comics 1942 Original Junior Justice Society of America - Decoder It's in great shape, but does have the OO name and address on it. $165 + $5 shipping
  16. Liefeld would really struggle with this one. And sooooo many pouches to draw.
  17. I believe once he sends it into CGC it means he has looked it over and has confidence in what he has. You knew that when you sent it to him the cover was attached (and have photos to prove it). A small refund may be in order but nothing more than that IMO.
  18. SOLD Journey Into Mystery 108 - Raw - 7.5 Nice unrestored copy. Cover & CF are snug at the staples. Date stamp on back cover. A tiny bit of wear takes this down to 7.5.
  19. SOLD Worlds Finest 19 - raw (incomplete page 1 missing) This copy has a cover that's been married to a copy missing the 1st page. Cover presents well, but is not attached and has some splits along the spine (but is holding together pretty well). There is a color copy of the 1st page.
  20. SOLD Marvel tales 109 CGC 9.4 CR-OW Gorgeous copy $785 + $15 shipping
  21. There's probably something wrong with me in the head, but when ever I see this one, I see the title as "Suck Chick".
  22. Yes, that 4th image is from a Spiderman (Mexican) comic. Who is Spidey kissing there?
