I just snagged a 4.0 for a nice price based on GPA. Wasn't looking for it but couldn't let a copy go for that cheap and not to me Inquiring minds want to know the deal you got?

I want a Strangers in Paradise movie too.

I can't believe it's taken this long to get the Bone movie rolling. It is such a great story.

+1 Live action though.

This time of year is hit and miss. Generally speaking, some people get Christmas bonuses and end up splurging on themselves but over all the plethora of end of year auctions (people trying to raise money), lack of time due to Christmas and Thanksgiving and credit card bills getting bloated I've found that this time of year is a buyer's market. I think that as you get close to Christmas, people get busy and distracted and don't follow auctions or eBay listings as closely as at other times. I'm not sure, though, that getting a bargain on a book like AF 15 is all that likely, even at high noon on Christmas Day. I made one of my greatest ebay purchases on Xmas day about 3 years ago. As I seller I try to always make sure my auctions NEVER end on holidays.

Any-Man was a weaker film based on everything I have heard. If this one did not hit that then something would be majorly wrong. Obviously it's no surprise that DS brought in Ant-Man #'s, but how quickly it did. Very low 2nd weekend drop compared to recent superhero films. Should be able to pass Winter Soldier at this rate. DS is showing in less theaters than WS, so that could hurt it's $, but I actually think it's going to gain money from the fact that everyone wants to see it in 3-D or Imax because they've heard it's visually exciting. I have a feeling it'll end somewhere between Thor 2 & Cap WS which will be a huge success.

I can't remember, in referring to magical artifacts did Mordo say something like "A magical artifact will pick you"? So the cloak chose him. Is that concept part of DS lore? Is the cloak sentient? It chose him so I'm guessing it is sentient. That makes me wonder if DS and his cloak have a symbiotic relationship, like Venom and his host. Imagine if DS's cloak went the direction of Venom's storyline. Does the cloak have gender? It would make for an interesting storyline if the Cloak became jealous of one of DS's future girl friends.

Have you seen it yet? No. If you and other Marvel fanboys I know are giving it mixed reviews then I will save my money and wait for it on the small screen. It is a good movie, my pickiness comes from wanting it to be better and it could have been. Will it be worth the 3-D cost when it comes to the effects? My son and I went to Imax 3D. He actually got a nose bleed during the movie (and no he wasn't snorting anything). I thought the effects were nice in 3D. He had a more jazzed reaction about this movie than many other Marvel movies. He said it was refreshing to go into the movie not knowing anything about this character.

I'm confused too. Does anyone know exactly what was said in the phone call? Was it definitely a reference to WarMachine? I thought someone inferred that after DS went to Tibet he studied there for 3 years. That would put the end of this movie 3 years after the end of Civil War. That doesn't seem to make sense.

I can see where most comics could follow seasonal highs and lows, but should a comic like AF15 ever have a seasonal low?

If you can't get the Page 1 origin, then Page 7 is definitely the one to have. Congrats! I think if I was to ever submit that page I would request that they had the back of the page facing the front since it is more iconic.

Agreed. Was there something in particular that turned you off? Plot? Actors? Effects? I'm not going to give it 4 stars, but I have to say I really enjoyed it. I wish it were a little longer.

Are the copies scarce or is it just that nobody was slabbing them until about 4 years ago. Looks like there's twice as many ST110s than TTA27s on the census. Way more ST110s than Hulk1s on the census too.

Little lull? This comic could be had cheap in high grade all the way to about 2013. I bought a 9.0 for $6100 that year and really wrestled with that purchase. It was one of the best comic purchases I've ever made. I want a do over so I can buy more.

No sure if the accent won't be bothering me throughout the entire movie. It's cute at first, but throughout an entire film? IMO the accent adds to the character, it doesn't subtract.

Yes, they absolutely need to put "Qualified" up by their grade. Their professional opinion of page quality would be nice too. I would have no problem with seeing it as a 5.0 Qualified. It's a very nice looking cover. They really need to show the back cover on a book like this. Since it is raw, they should at least show the Subby splash too.

This is a great thread. Keep it coming boys. I like the new designations for the cent copies of "short font" & "tall font". Do we now suspect most of the prehero marvels had short & tall fonts on the prices or is it just limited to a couple? I think of great importance would be to know if TTA13 has short & tall fonts since that is such a key issue.

I have to admit I was one of the first to jump on the "Gal Gadot is not right for this" bandwagon. I will now admit I was wrong. She's killing it.
