  1. Is this the rare George Seurat variant? Seriously though, congrats. Even a low grade copy is a coveted copy.
  2. WELL DESERVED. WIG WAM RULES
  3. Nice comic. Clean. Interior pages look fairly white to me. Spine is nice. Back cover has tiny flaw in the upper left. 1" tear at the bottom of the back cover that goes thru the "R" & "I" of the word "Rifles". Has a high grade feel to it, but has a couple flaws.
  4. Got this one in and was pleasantly surprised to find that it contains JIM 83 & 84. Which makes sense since it's issue #1. I just wish they would have used the cover to 83
  5. This is a pressed subscription comic. You really can't tell that from the front, but the back cover does have the telltale crease. Aside from that a few minor blemishes. To me is seems like it should grade as high as a subscription comic should be able to go, but maybe I'm wrong.
  6. Low grade. Most of the problems you can see in the pics. One thing you can't see is that most of the cover has a piece of archival tape on the inside spine. Would this get a "conserved" because of that or a PLOD?
  7. Hi CGC In one of my big comic submissions I added 2 magazines. They got separated in "tiers" because one was a 1974 & the other was 1975, but since they are the only mags I submitted it would be stupid for them to be shipped to me individually. Is there a way I can combine them into 1 tier so they are shipped together? Even if I have to pay a little extra to turn the modern sub into an economy sub it'll be worth it to be shipped together. The submission #s are 3900936 & 3900937 Thanks in advance if you can help me. Todd
  8. Here's a really good version of "The Song". i can't get enough of it.
  9. I won too. Just thought it was weird. Never seen it before and I've done a lot of sniping.
  10. I'm not arguing that the markings are not Church's, I'm simply saying.... "9.9?". Did the graders really have to go there? Wouldn't a 9.8 have made the same statement of awesomeness. Definitely an amazing comic. It just shocked me to see 9.9. Why not just call it a 10?
  11. Yes, it's gorgeous..... but 9.9? Doesn't the writing at the top at least take it to a 9.8. 9.9s are unicorns for the bronze age. This just seems a little silly. Kudos to the owner. What a find. Were any other "Mile High"s 9.9s?
  12. Um.... 1942 comic graded 9.9? Yeah. Right. I'm sure it's nice, but 9.9??? Does anyone have a pic of this slabbed comic?
  13. Anyone else think it was weird when they were looking for the helmet (which is about 1 foot thick) in the woods they were kicking little 4" piles of leaves around. Hey director..... have your prop people stack the leaves higher . Of course the woods looked so groomed that I figured the helmet would be just sitting out in the open.
  14. I've got 2 mags in that I submitted 8-11-21. They've been in for a little over 6 months and have been in G/E/I for at least 2 months. The worst part about it is that 1 was 1974 "economy tier" and one was 1975 "modern tier". For some reason I separated the tiers instead of just paying a little extra to have them in the same tier. They were the only mags in the submission so they will be individually shipped to me when they're done. REALLY bad planning on my part. Am I gonna have to wait another 6 months? It's really deceptive when the status switches to "Grading/Encapsulation" and it just sits there for months.
  15. These are coming my way soon. I'm stoked. btw.... nice legs Loki
  16. I don't even think CBCS would authenticate this sig.
  17. I bought one of these a few months ago... I'll have to post mine too. Yours is very nice but obviously needs the press for the top of the spine. I see this pressing to a 9.2
  18. A label note stating the cover is from "Adventure Comics 160" would have been nice (and probably some of the interior)
  19. Maybe towards the end of his life when even Stan had trouble writing his name? Or..... pure forgery?
