  1. After so much effort on my part to resolve this, we can add HUSH to the list of welchers...way to go, Joe! He 'bought' four books from the OO...even asked for and received a bit of discount...but when it came time to pay, he fell remarkably silent. I sent him an 'invoice' some six weeks ago and he asked if he could swap out one book for another. I told him he could, but values were different and that he'd have to pay a bit more for the replacement. He never responded, nor did he pay...even though he had my Paypal details. Two weeks ago, I reminded him. He read the PM, but didn't pay. One week ago, I reminded him again. He again read the PM, but again didn't pay. I PMed him again last night and warned him his name was to be outed...nothing. So here's to you, HUSH...the newest addition to the board's list of welchers!
  2. You should be on the "Yup..I'm reading your PMs but not responding to them because I'm a " list... (thumbs u Yep, i agree with that one ArAich
  3. You should be on the "Yup..I'm reading your PMs but not responding to them because I'm a " list... (thumbs u
  4. They are indeed...but don't beat yourself up over it. You've done nothing wrong. (thumbs u
  5. Even though it was annoying and cap ffreak backed out of buying two different comics from me....by your definition, it isn't a month long wait in transaction etc. and I did tell him "whatever", so does he really belong on this list, or some other covert list for those that back out. He's not the first to back out from buying a comic from me. I think it's up to the seller to either let the deal go away, or to raise his voice and say pay up or shut up. In this case I said "whatever". So? The fact that you're cool with it Collin is all credit to you. The fact that a boarder can't be trusted is something that, as an upstanding member of this community, you really should be informing your fellow upstanding citizens about. (thumbs u
  6. Will you be relisting the books.. Yeah...whatever I don't get paid on, I'll relist them all together. (thumbs u Sucker...just sell them to me. I harass you like hell via PM but I always pay when needed. Is true. (worship)
  7. Will you be relisting the books.. Yeah...whatever I don't get paid on, I'll relist them all together. (thumbs u
  8. Thanks, mate. At the moment, I'm feel a bit like 'let no good deed go unpunished.'
  9. Sorry to hear that...but unfortunately, not surprised. Nice guy, but he's checked out 50% of the time. And he's had more 'family crisises' that the cast of 'All My Children'. Ah, well...I'm attempting to collect from folk who have run tabs on the Mildenhall stuff...and fully anticipate that I'll have a few names to add shortly.
  10. He couldn't recollect posting the on about 10 seperate occasions? And I did e-mail him as well as PM him...but got silence in response. Oh, and my first attempt to contact him was over six weeks ago. His name can stay on the list. (thumbs u
  11. And just what is your association with SUXXCORP???
  12. I was in that topic at the same time (I made a purchase 10 minutes before you posted the "I'll take it". I specifically remember your post saying "as per PM", because one of the books you asked for was one I wavered on and decided against, and also I remember thinking how maybe I should have worked out lower prices before committing to buy. The "as per possible PM" or whatever it says now sticks out a lot, it's actually what made me notice that posts could be edited with the option to not mark it as edited. Vindicated! Thank you!! (thumbs u Not that anyone with any sense thought otherwise. BTW, did you get payment on those books, Matt? Or just told to shove them?
  13. So, then, SJ300... How many board deals have you backed out on, after posting the ? Bear in mind that the answer should be 'none', but let's see whether you can be honest about it.
  14. :insane: I think you can file job applications on-line?
  15. What bag? Here's reality...Air Mail UK to USA on eight comics, two graphics and two hardcovers...$77. I take a bath on shipping all the time and whoever is getting the $5-$7 rate is offering sex to postie.
  16. I think the $35 offer is what's fueling this issue. If someone offered me $35 shipped after popping $38 worth of books....I would have told them to go Juststopit.DoyouWANTastrike? themselves with zero hesitation. But if someone offered me $35 shipped before popping $38 worth of books...all would be right with the world. That's the problem...take a deal to the seller, thrash it out, agree yes or no...then go post the little er.
  17. In a nutshell. But clearly, that's fine, because he 'misunderstood' the fact that shipping from the UK is not cheap. And he clearly didn't mean the anyway....that is, always was, and always will be the first step on the road of lengthy negotiations.
  18. (1) Never, ever assume. (2) It is entirely inappropriate to post the guy's name here for simply not answering a PM. This is for people who don't pay, or don't ship, who have basically reneged or stolen. He has done neither...not even close. (3) Apologise to the guy publicly and move on.
  19. All Hail the Dork OverLord! That's Mrs Dorkette Overlord to you...
  20. ...is right. There needs to be a public apology here from the seller. It's the only thing that's appropriate. (thumbs u It is hard to argue with the boards' biggest seller of late and Nick, how you keep track of payments received when buyers are running tabs and books shipped is truly amazing. I can get confused selling six items on e-bay. Excel sheet. A ing huge Excel sheet.
  21. ...is right. There needs to be a public apology here from the seller. It's the only thing that's appropriate. (thumbs u
  22. Not good advice for these boards. Some people here have the patience of a 2-year old spoiled brat and start whining threads at the drop of a hat. I think Divad`s original guideline was 1 month, which I think is a good standard. That's 'cause you don't need the money you're owed....
  23. Let's add Sid to the list. I paid for a Transmetropolitan run over 6 weeks ago, my Paypal has run out as I really wasn't worried as I've never had a problem with a forum member. I've emailed him, I've PM'd him about wondering where the run is. He's got my $60 and the comics...still, as he's not getting back to me. Yeah, throw Sid on the list. (thumbs u Owes me over $200...no responses to attempts at contact.
  24. Yeah, it is and I'm toying with a few ideas that might, if implimented, make it a better place. Care to be a 'sounding board', Nik, and throw a few other ideas into the pot?
