  1. Vince, you were neither saint, nor victim, so let's get that out of the way up front... However, Dale had the arse and the tone of his responses were not what I would hope for. The 'I suppose I might have slightly bent a little titchy-witchy rule or two' defense is poor, especially from one of the better-known sellers on the boards, and he did go into semi-meltdown with his 'thanks to icefires and GACollectibles' snide comment. That it was then declared that all transgressions should be pointed out by PM firstly is also total BS. We don't go the PM route with newbs, so why do it with someone who should know better (and, let's be honest, actually does)? I'm sick to death of giving people a pass if they are 'nice' or have 'nice books'. that...play by the rules or have it pointed out to you. And don't act the arse when it is pointed out to you in your thread, and don't start arguing whether they are good rules or not...they are the ones we've got until they change. Besides, if you did things properly in the first place, none of this would happen, now, would it?
  2. Isn’t cut and paste brilliant? Invincible is one of the hottest title of the last five years…and here we are with the first ten issues, all First Print and all in superb high grade! All of them are signed by Robert Kirkman and a few by Ryan Ottley, and I’ve also thrown in a second copy of #9 as well as a signed copy of the origin issue #0!!! For those of you who have not bought from me in the past and are unsure about my grading, I would suggest you take references from some long-established boarders who have – maybe try JazzMan who’s just had one of my ‘7.5s’ graded as a 9.2 at Sarasota! However, if you are dissatisfied, returns will be accepted. Additionally, if any of the books are submitted and come back more than one point lower than the grade I’ve assigned, a full refund will be given. (thumbs u A few administrative details…unless you are in the UK, Paypal is the only workable method of payment. Within the UK, cheques or postal orders are acceptable. I'm not going to be splitting the lot down into individual books, and price for all twelve issues is $200 $175, this cost being inclusive of fully insured Air Mail shipping. As usual, the trumps all. PMs can be sent my way, and I’ll answer them as soon as I can, but until you post that little man in the thread, the books aren’t yours. All 12 books - $200 inclusive of Fully Insured Air Mail shipping!!! All 12 books - $175 inclusive of Fully Insured Air Mail shipping!!! Invincible #0 VF/NM (9.0) Signed by Robert Kirkman & Ryan Ottley Invincible #1 VF+ (8.5) Signed by Robert Kirkman Invincible #2 NM (9.4) Signed by Robert Kirkman Invincible #3 NM- (9.2) Signed by Robert Kirkman Invincible #4 NM+ (9.6) Signed by Robert Kirkman Invincible #5 NM+ (9.6) Signed by Robert Kirkman Invincible #6 NM+ (9.6) Signed by Robert Kirkman Invincible #7 NM- (9.2) Signed by Robert Kirkman Invincible #8 NM- (9.2) Signed by Robert Kirkman & Ryan Ottley Invincible #9 NM- (9.2) Signed by Robert Kirkman & Ryan Ottley Invincible #9 NM- (9.2) Invincible #10 NM (9.4) Signed by Robert Kirkman
  3. Anarky Rulz! Well, considering we currently have a dealer with four threads on the first page, three of which he started tonight...I tend to agree. If its me, blame it on the rain that was fallin, fallin. And Milli Vanilli. Nah, not you. If it was, it would at least be entertaining. This is anything but...

  5. Let's have spongerob86 added to the list, please. Four months without payment, promises to 'take another book or two', no response in a fortnight to last PM. I just love these newbs...
  6. Did he supply a tracking number or proof of shipping? And was it sent Surface or Air? And was there insurance?
  7. When it rains it pours. I don't get how he can be a board member for 5 years and just string you along like that. I know the type though, probably done with comics for the time being and moved on so it makes no difference to him. Sorry about that. Cheers, Matt. I'm coming to realise that it's about par for the course around here.
  8. And if we're going to have a 'bad day' on this thread, please stick clobberintime on there, too. He 'bought' a book in the April VCC (yup, you heard that right...the April VCC) and despite numerous attempts on my part to close the deal, he's disappeared. His excuse was always 'I want to buy more to make the shipping worthwhile', so I'd send him over a list...and I wouldn't hear from him again for weeks. Then we'd play out the same scenario again. My last PM went to him on 24th September, he hasn't read it (although he read all the previous) and my guess is he's done with us here. Nobody seems to have an e-mail for him, so... He's our latest entrant. (thumbs u
  9. I particularly like this part . . . where does this guy get off? Warned him against what? That they are fast payers, respectable Board members, and expect good quality service and accurately graded, well-packaged product? Anyone consider maybe Mr.A was lying? Jim He wasn't...although Mr Comical Supply himself put a slightly different spin on the 'advice' he gave Mr Avalanche.
  10. I'm so sorry that you are dealing with that,it was the main reason I posted on that thread originally, to warn others. I got a PM from another board member, who also got books that were poorly graded. When I filed the paypal dispute (and in the dispute I asked to return the books at MY cost) , the response was, that I was "trying to get something for nothing" which was a very odd attitude ..He did post his phone number in a few of his Ebay auctions, if that helps you, you might want to do a search of his Ebay auctions, to get the number.. He's running some ebay auctions? I've got an idea... And I think I know what it is!
  11. Sorry to hear this, Matt... This guy is Comic Supply's 'best mate' or something, isn't he? No surprise there, then.
  12. Seeing as I personally received a payment direct from Danny/C-K for a robojo33 auction, I'm 100% confident that that should read 'It is known that this seller is an alias for Comic-Keys' How many times are you going to make me repeat my previous posts re; robo33 or whoever this is? I have bought from him several times. I had NO IDEA who this person is/supposedly/allegedly is until I read things about him in these Threads. Not ONE CGC Forumite ever PMd me to inform me of any of this. What am I supposed to do? Find all the comics I bought, drive up to NY state and twist his arm Godfather style( " I am making a offer you can't refuse - either your brains or a check is gonna be in my hands because my enemies on the CGC Boards say you are some kind of crook - even though you never sold me anything bad/flamed me or said anything bad about me otherwise") and fix what YOU guys are telling me? I know a little about comic keys, but all of that has never needed to concern me. If he sells me trimmed/restored junk believe me he will deal with me and as always, I will come out on top. CAL Cal, I ain't going to make you repeat yourself. I don't think you and I have discussed this issue anywhere else before, so I'm not sure about the 'how many more times'? I actually wasn't addressing you...I was simply making the point that, to my mind and with the evidence I personally have, there is no doubt that robojo33 is Danny Dupcak. Merely posting the warnings for anyone who might be reading and might be in any doubt. You might want to get the stick out of your arse before you have a go at me again...

  14. Because the guy is a person_who_is_obnoxiously_self-impressed? Is that job still open at the UN? I'll actually be having Thanksgiving dinner with the fine Governor of NM again this year. He was the US Ambassador to the UN and is running for President in 08. He's grooming me for the UN job. There goes the neighbourhood. This mean Brian will be telling diplomats from around the world to "go fist themselves"?!?!? Yes. *Copyright Old Guy*

  17. Stop obsessing! Or I'll start a Halloween Pressing Thread.
  18. Arch, Steve B's just berated us all for not giving you lot enough credit, so... (worship) Now....any chance you can maybe go a bit easier on all the posts you bunch have been deleting recently?
  19. I get too much a kick out of these kind of threads to ever kick you folks off Besides, I like you all too much to see you go BTW......I personally do not mind OT threads if they are few and far between in CG ONLY. I like talking music and movies with fellow COMIC collectors because I care what they think. I do not care what sports or coin fans think. I love the charity threads and Secrect Santa/Chanukh Harrry/Athiest Andy/Budda Barry/etc. threads. And I really love the OT threads when one of is in trouble where we help out or where one of us needs advice as long as they do not turn into trash someone or something threads. We get to know each other and become more of a community. The fact that I know so much about many of you, is the reason some of us have become friends and the reason I love this community so very much. That said, the mods seem to leave it alone as long as you keep it to a minimum and use OT to begin you thread. If the title states OT, anyone who wants can just simply avoid it. At the end of the day, we have always been a bit flexible on these boards, and I think the mods do a great job that they work very hard at! They also do not get the credit they deserve The rules are the rules, but even I have broken them once in a blue moon. That's my (worthless ) And, hey, let's be careful out there! I don't believe this... cannot possibly be happening... Cal, You have one view...other people have different views. It's what makes the world go around and makes it interesting. I don't understand how this can be 'unbelievable'? Seriously, you made a not unreasonable motion, it didn't get agreed with and carried...no biggie, it happens all the time to all of us. Take a deep breath, clear your head, and move on. (thumbs u
  20. FFS, Cal! Unless you've been down a hole for six months, you'd know that everybody...and I mean everybody...who posts here against board rules will get beeyatch slapped so hard their head will spin. This is not about you, but about policing this place, something which is done ruthlessly by any boarder who just happens to be looking in at the time. And as a matter of order, the use of the word 'libs', or liberals, suggests an emphasis on freedom, not the opposite?
