  1. Bought some Letter 44 sketch books from his ebay account, I couldn't be happier, excellent grading, shipping and overall service, BUT... ...didn't leave me ebay feedback, and for a low feedback user like me, every bit of feedback is important.
  2. Flipped through the pages on issue 127, looks like the same characters, only older. And it won't even fit in a mylite 2 for current size books. I'm going to have to throw it out.
  3. I agree, "my stuff is *spoon* but your stuff is *spoonerer*"
  4. EXTREME ENVY ***you are ignoring this user**** just so I don't have to see the art.
  5. Well, at least he didn't have to kill everyone to get rid of everyone this time...
  6. TPB tomorrow, I don't remember waiting in anticipation this much to be able to read the TPB for any other title.
  7. I really enjoyed Monster Island by David Wellington and am looking forward to reading Monster Nation and Monster Planet. Also reading The Strain, the novel.
  8. Isn't this good though, if you take away the that need to hoard regular copies of #1 by hoarder collectors by giving them something more collectible to focus on. That way the #1 regular remains affordable to whomever wishes to jump into the title. Sure, you can call it a manufactured collectible, but it's a collectible nonetheless. Just my thoughts.
  9. So, will the relatively high print run for issue #1, will that hurt or help the value of the variants. Meaning, will the 1k print runs on the variants make them more attractive to collectors than the 30k plus regular issue print run.
  10. Saga #1 SS are going to for that much... http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_from=R40&_nkw=saga+%231+cgc+9.8&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&rt=nc
  11. All three volumes of Saga TPB in the top 10 in graphic novel sales according to comichron.com
  12. Cgc board members discuss the hypothetical of an SB show
  13. That sucks. On the bright side now you have more time to focus on selling comics on consignment. Isn't it illegal to fire someone because of a learning disability? Just sayin. Sounds like a lawsuit if you ask me. There's your chance to make more than minimum wage I guess... well I didn't tell her I had a learning disability because I was afraid that I wouldn't get hired ironic huh? You should be up front with that from now on in interviews. If they refuse to hire you based on that, contact the ADA. I think he should contact a legal aid society and see if he has a case now.
  14. Why does it appear that the DCBS copy is doing so well, considering it had the lowest buy in point of all the variant covers at only $3.50 if purchased from DCBS, while the other variants had initial prices of $12 to $15, yet they look like they are stalling at those prices.
  15. We're going to see copies of number two on the shelves for weeks if not months. Since Midtown instituted the 5 per limit on the SBs, copies still remain on the shelf as recent as last night.
  16. You bunch of lucky SOBs with your prestine books, eat worms, I hate you.
  17. congrats, you have the best set.
