I didn't even know this book was a thing. I guess it's time to dig them out.

Despairing over the lack of hot Star Wars? Doctor Aphra 19 Sprouse variant (Bo-Katan cover) has been doing well recently. Since the most recent Mandalorian episode hints that we haven't seen the last of the Mythasaur, I imagine anything in the comics reated to that will do well as well.

Anyone know what ever happened to @Aweandlorder This was his last post almost 3 years ago. If I recall, I believe he was a Long Island guy. I hope he's doing well

They explained the rules ahead of time and said something like "can fire darts in any order"...but I agree.
This bothered me instantly. Chased the beast for day(s), and within 30sec of their arrival the creature miraculously decides to feed the kid to its young. Why did it wait? How is the kid okay?
I could only attribute it to lazy writing.

I know that I am nitpicking here, but, how does the kid survive more than 24 hours in the raptor's belly without oxygen and when he's eventually spit out, he's clean as a whistle with no slime or stomach acids all over his body?

Yep. When I go in to the store, this particular guy will pull out any NS comics he has for me to look at. He rarely has any but when he does, they are titles I don't care about and 1995 or earlier (usually 1991-1995). As for "beat up", he doesn't usually buy beat up comics so that isn't the case with him for anything after 1980 or so. He will buy lower grade if it is a special comic, like Marvel Spotlight #5. He has a CGC 5.0 of that on his wall right now for $500.
That Spotlight #5 is a good deal at $500.

And, I'll add, Comic book stores often have very low inventory of NS issues. As the owner of my LCS explained to me, "I can't buy newsstands unless someone walks in with a collection. As a store, I buy directs from the distributor. Those comics, the directs, are almost 100% of my backstock. These days, and at least for the last decade, collectors do not walk in to sell me things any more. They sell them on eBay instead. On top of all that, no one publishes newsstands any longer".
That particular store has around 150,000 comics in inventory. Of those, they may have about 150 NS comics, almost all of which are pre-1995.
Same here, most LCS that I visit usually have a smattering of newsies that are usually beat up.

I know Alex Ross always used real people for some of his characters that he drew.

Good looking out. I wasn't clear but, I only intend to slab the keys.
Is eBay a good place to sell them or would you recommend something else? I have an old eBay account but no history of selling much and zero comic books so I'm wondering if that would hurt views or trust from the comic book buyers. You can try and sell them here first in the Marketplace. It's free.

Congrats. That Twinkie should still be eatable with all the preservatives used back in the day, lol.

The Sound of Music was released on this date back in 1965.
This young lad displayed his talents on this movie, but what in the heck does he have to do with Spider-Man?
@Get Marwood & I's half eaten Twinkie from the 70s for the first correct winner.
He played Spidey in the 70's TV series.

I saw it last Saturday with the kids and I thought it was okay. Hopefully GOTG will be better.
