  1. It is a bit frustrating reading and seeing all the books coming back, and my status hasn't changed at all since Dec 6th. But patience is a virtue....or some bullpucky.
  2. My books still haven't moved out of 12/6 received status. I got the CCS email notification on Monday night, so they're still in line to get pressed. Assume at this point that I won't see any possible changes in status until next week at the earliest. Bummer. I'll continue practicing my patience face.
  3. That was actually toward the top of my list to send in, but decided against it since mine would not have been 9.8 (probably 9.4 or thereabouts). Plus, with the glossy cover, was unsure how well the sig would work. PLUS, I wanted to keep it open for reading in the future.
  4. Same here. Still only showing as received on 12/6 for me, no movement yet. Although I did get a CCS email notification last night. So I'll take that as confirmation that my books were signed and sent over for pressing.
  5. It's natural for him to want (or need) to speed things along by shortening his signature as the days go by....and he's still looking at dozens of boxes to get to. Buuut, I rewatched his videos just now. He literally only shows two sigs from Day 3 (both 'Todd McFarlane'). No sigs from Day 4 are shown. (Day 1 showed approximately 10 'Todd McFarlane' and 3 'T.McFarlane' sigs. Day 2 was evenly split 4 each between 'Todd McFarlane' and 'T.McFarlane'.) So you can't draw any conclusions from the videos when you only see two sigs from Day 3 and 4 combined, both of which are the full 'Todd'. It's going to take more people like Bloodwings above before we get any kind of sense of things. It could simply be that Todd goes back and forth just to vary it for himself, even if only slightly.
  6. Same videos from CGC's Instagram feed. Day 3 video had the full 'Todd McFarlane' sig. In the videos, I think it's more about the size of the bag window, like the videos from yesterday filmed on Day 2. There's no way to say for sure. Clearly though, there is probably a natural inclination for Todd to become exhausted and want to speed things along more quickly. I expect he's still interspersing 'Todd McFarlane' and 'T.McFarlane' sigs each day, depending on the window size. I hope anyway.
  7. The videos? They don't show anything. As a matter of fact, the last videos (the ones Pzy just posted a couple minutes ago) actually make an argument against it.
  8. How is that known? Other than the videos, has there been other announcements or postings showing signings from the past day or two?
  9. Oh ok, I see it now. I was looking at the signature, and trying to make out if it was like Chinese characters or something. I see the name within the chicken scratch now.
  10. I think I prefer to cut my own window as well. Those would work well with a blank cover for sketches. Otherwise, I can be a bit particular with some covers as to where I prefer the placement of the sig, especially the more busy covers that don't leave much room for autographs, such as these two that I submitted:
  11. Well there! I had no idea that those existed! Inneresting….
  12. Good to know! Appreciate the info! I'll definitely look for that with the next signing. Don't want to look like an amateur.
  13. So, random question: where do people get that blue tape from that most are using for the bag windows? I ended up just using plain ol' masking tape.
  14. Yeah, I have to say that I've only had top-notch service from CGC in all my dealings with them. Can't say the same for the competition. I'll only deal with CGC for my graded books. Still no indication that my books have been signed yet (received 12/6). Fingers crossed for today!
  15. Glad I ordered the pressing service after watching these videos.
  16. Oh gosh, that would be a customer service and PR nightmare for them. I can't imagine they wouldn't commit to getting every book signed....eventually.
  17. I'm beginning to get a bit nervous that Todd keeps mentioning only being there for 4 days. I have a bad feeling that I'm going to be receiving an email next week from CGC saying 'Due to the high demand for Todd, he was not able to get to all of the books sent in during this visit. He will re-schedule to come back at a later date to be announced to complete the remaining signatures.' I will then proceed to hurl myself through the nearest window.
  18. Certainly seems to be a huge cash (and PR) boon for CGC (and the artist). I can see them creating special 'In-House Signing' labels every time they have one of these events, which would actually reinforce even further how legit the sigs are if labeled as signed from that date(s).
  19. Looked like every pile on that table had a Spawn 1 waiting to be signed. Todd's pretty funny about it. EDIT: Actually referring to different Instagram video from last night, not Pzy's link above: https://www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/18094865014126616/
  20. Hmm, unlikely. But probably worth calling them to ask. I'd be curious to hear what they say.
