It still says it's available for pickup. In the past their busy times (2020/21) it would At least say delivered. I wouldn't be overly concerned but some walkthrough books.

@CGC Mike come on tell me this makes any lick of sense. CGC screws up and now the customer can't get what they paid for cause CGC screwed up??? I am guessing we do not have any more of the scroll labels. I will check with my boss and find out for sure. Good thing they are just paper and more can be printed. @LudaToke deserves what he paid for, if not I sure CGC is offering him a BOAT ton of credit to make up for the mistakes (and I don't mean just the $10 he paid per label).

I didn't know him very well but just learned of his unexpected passing yesterday as confirmed by his wife. Most recently had dinner with him at Baltimore con this past fall. 😢

Unfortunately this seems to be their MO. Damage book, downgrade and hope you don't say anything/notice. I sent in a wavy case 9.8, upon it returning it was a 9.4 and they didn't notify me or anything. Instead someone had rammed what looked like a screwdriver head into the back of the book. When I contacted cgc they asked 101 questions implying I somehow caused the damage while the book was always holdered. Mike was able to step in and get it resolved but it wasn't easy.

they are local to us and what a lot of guys here use. As mec said they are just slightly smaller so you are almost forced to use their boards with their bags. Their mylars aren't the same feel as Gerbers but they are like 50% the price.

Hopefully they get them done and right before 2024 because honestly it's a joke dealing with ME's.

No one was accepting this to be the new rule at CGC which is why I asked if this was true to have it come from CGC. However let's be honest would this really shock anyone if this is the way CGC went? I mean we are 3 years into the absolute worst QC we've ever seen (I think we see more QC issues per month now than we did in a 5 year period). It certainly seems CGC is doing everything in their power to make it more and more difficult to have their mistakes fixed.

It's highly possible? I don't know the process so can't pretend to know if that is the case. I can hardly wait to see the book in hand with the wrong label text and the book further damaged from this process.

@CGC Mike well the clowns have done it again... It shipped today and this looks super promising Label Text Piece ouf of page 2 & 3, affects story Not sure why changing the word OUF to OUT on the label notes is so fing hard to do. Cgc has already attempted this twice now and failed. I'll be sending Matt a very nicely worded email. I'm not sure how a book going in for a label update ME can not be checked to see the label update was applied.

This actually has my blood boiling. CGC has not graded items loose with a book such as 3Dglasses because it may damage and dislodge. Slab it with shards of plastic... No problem at all... Cause paper glasses are so much more harmful than sharp shards of plastic.

It's absolute stupidity. I know it's not Mike's decision and he's been our go between. However man oh man upper management is really trying to put cgc in the ground time after time

This Guarantee does not apply to Collectibles that have been removed from a CGC holder, or if the CGC holder containing a Collectible has been damaged, unsealed, tampered with, or altered. The determination as to whether this has occurred shall be at the sole reasonable discretion of Guarantor. Further, this Guarantee does not apply to counterfeit or tampered CGC holders.

I don't think there are many W AF15s...I know someone paid about a 50% premium for a W copy (especially in lower grade) they just don't happen.

I was thinking the same. If I had a NMC copy with the colours and presentation of this one it sure wouldn't be 33k. I think the price suits the book, you can always upgrade find a different copy down the road and best thing is that you'll have a copy so should the book decide to take off (like it has a few times in the past) you won't have to settle for a 2.0 next time.
