  1. Doing the run in 9.0+ is probably a 500k+ project. I'd love to see you accomplish this if you can!
  2. @Gsims718 why didn't you post the good photo of @greggy he's just so peaceful in it
  3. @CGC Mike I know you pop in here often but figured I'd tag you. As this is very positive unlike a lot of my more recent posts tagging you CGC Comics side of things is a mess (I know preaching to the choir). CGC Cards on the other hand is working like a well oiled machine. Cards were received and opened quickly. All TATs were faster than the posted times (unlike my Econ books which are now overdue but looking at the thread they'll still be another 20 + business days...which puts them almost 2 months behind CGC's posted times, it's very clear they don't care about econ else they wouldn't have econ FT at only 20 days and regular at 235). Not our first batch back from CGC cards but one of the nicest small touches is that all the cards have the correct labeling but MORESO was the fact that the box was in order! I don't think I've ever received a comic box in which my submission was in the correct order. More often than not there will be about 5 or so books not in the correct spot (maybe this is why QC is so messed up ). Wish we had more cards to send down right now as we are very pleased all around with the card section.
  4. Not to be that guy but if cgc done screws up they'll replace the book or give you the declared value whichever is lower....and with the screw up's these days...
  5. This is exciting. Mind you not sure why they wouldn't have done 24months since Econ CCS + Econ CGC = 24months but I guess I'm not paid the big bucks for a reason.
  6. kin-6150 return of a cgc 9.8 cause it had a bindery tear on a 64 page issue...claimed it was a defective slab
  7. Not my book. The guy selling it however is trying to get a HUGE premium cause it's an error CGC case I only buy Mark Jeweller books
  8. When cgc qc department needs a qc inspector and that inspector needs an inspector.
  9. Call cgc and harass them. Maybe then they'll finally fix the problem they've been working on fixing for over a year 😂
  10. Here I was thinking my Nov books would be done soon
  11. Toronto Comic Book Show. https://torontocomicbookshow.com/ One day show and by far the best comic show hands down. No trinkets. No Funkos. No Cosplay.
  12. Almost a year to solve a programming issue. I don't know programming but I know for a fact I could have learned code and solved this problem in under a year. Let me know when CGC wants to pay me to fix the problem.
  13. How you guys all don't have chip cards is beyond me.... That's like 20 year old technology @Ares we'll see you on Sunday. We take any way they want to pay us. Cash, card, etransfer PayPal. Of course some prices are better when we aren't getting a service fee.
  14. I wouldn't look back at the what if I sold it (and I know you aren't really) It's very difficult to time a market (comics/stocks/house etc). I think trying to time it is a dangerous game. I have watched guys sell a book to upgrade and the market double before the upgrade is secured and now they have to pay 5.0 money to rebuy their 3.0 book type deal.
  15. #freeeconomybooks #freepedigreebook #improvequalitycontrol #stopbeingaflashintheinvisibleacetatecompany
  16. Their submission tracking is down. It goes down more often that a cheap lady of the night. Have to wait till their it crew gets it fixed.
  17. I'm glad in the last 5 years CGC has decided to become the follower and not the leader in the industry
  18. did CGC change their stance or is this another screw up? @CGC Mike
