  1. Other than Laterns and Brave & The Bold was a rather underwhelming announcement/plan
  2. Ty sir. I'll do that tonight. I reached out to cs 2 days ago but no reply glad you are on top of things.
  3. One thing to be cautious about this is the use of CPR which has exploded in the last few years. Many ppl who CPR do not send in old labels (for several reasons including fear of it resulting in the same grade, laziness, didn't know they should etc). This does paint a nice picture of average grade.
  4. @CGC Mike looks like someone has fiddled with the mechanical error on the website. I can no longer fill it out as it won't let me change my country (locked to USA). I think this was brought up a week or so ago as well. Emailed CS with the details as well but figured you fix more things then everyone else so get on it
  5. I'm so freaking glad cgc can fix the absolute basic errors. This book spent 3 months with cgc to be returned with the same error and additional damage to the book. I guess cgc customer service can waste more money. Thanks to inspector #7 who also signed off on it being good to go. Cgc is OUF of respect from me. @CGC Mike
  6. I'm sure if you push CGC to get it added to the label they would. However they don't add things until someone asks and submits a bit of proof.
  7. Full list and details will come as I get them. Used several saws to break in. Stole what is currently quoted at 80k worth of books (60k USD). Mainly slabs. Few slabs not on the list but lower dollar moderns. (This isn't my shop, just good friends of ours). It's clear they had an idea of the layout but had limited knowledge of the books to grab as they left some bigger books behind while chasing cheaper ones. www.captcancomics.ca
  8. cheers Mike. We only pick on you cause we love ya!
  9. This was sent in as a Newsstand copy. Apparently someone at cgc disagreed. Quality control also didn't catch it.
  10. Shocker more customers that have filled out invoices and someone who clearly doesn't know differences in comic books is changing their invoices. @CGC Mike maybe suggest an auditing SYSTEM. If cgc employee #1 keeps changing invoice and books printings/cpv/newstands/variants and those ones keep coming back for ME. Might be a good way to catch who's ducking stuff up causing much $ to cgcs bottom lines.
  11. Hmm I've never had that issue and cgc gets a lot of reholders I'd delete your entire shipping address and re-enter it (make sure its not to a po box)
  12. Fill out a ME form. Once you've completed it reach out to cs saying here is my form attached. I'm a Canadian so I need a return label. They'll tell you to fill out the form. Remind them you've already attached it and attach it again. After 2 or 3 emails you'll eventually get told shipping will get you a label shortly. You'll wait a week or so have to remind them and then after about 2 weeks and 8 emails you'll be awarded the shipping label.
  13. @CGC Mike honest question. If cgc is asking us to fill out invoices and then changing them (sure it's their discretion to change the books especially if they were filled in wrong) however I for the life of me can't figure out why an employee would change a book from one variant to a regular cover without being absolutely 100% sure that is the right call to make. Or when a submission is filled out as a Newsstand or Canadian and then it not be labeled as such and put in as a direct. I get that cgc has and should correct books that are mislabeled but it seems to be a growing trend of cgc removing qualifiers and having to have them shipped back for proper labeling.
  14. Since cgc got rid of label text notes cause there were too many errors and wanted us to check notes maybe they should get rid of the label all together.
  15. It's not that the rate would have changed that much, however as a Canadian it is likely close to the amount lost. The OP needs to and understand his CC TOS before blaming you guys. When we purchase something from a non CDN fund we get tacked on a "conversion fee" which can be anywhere from we'll say 0.5% above spot to a whopping 5% above spot. The same is also true with a refund coming in (the same percentage would apply). So if the initial fee was: $170.44 (we'll say spot was 1.35 as that is where she's been hovering). Charge of $230.094, add on the fee from the CC for converting (we'll go with 3%). OP is now charged and would see on their statement: $237.00. Refund would have been $170.44 USD, add in the fee (3%) = $165.475 convert to CDN = $223.39 Difference of $13.61
  16. They just give you the grade bump without fixing the issues...then the next guy sees that there are pressable defects, uses a different presser and presses them out and the grade stays the same.
  17. Ya I've never seen their marketing material show Newton rings or scratches all over the case. My lovely mechanical error arrived back with the correct label... But he'll of a lot of scratches
  18. Ya I think the best course of option is to increase the price of my 6.5 by $25k
  19. Almost like this is the first custom label they've done where the hologram covers the stupid custom label
  20. Shipped. It's a huge kick in the face to make Fast Tracks only 20 days but regular track 235. Glad these books are finally done their year + journey (cause you know they sat waiting to be opened for a while too )
