His "friend" received the book and likes the book. I do trust his friend not to screw Gabe over but like many others the details on this transaction were very outthere.

When I buy a book, I value it with the grade I would place on it, regardless of what the label says or who printed it. I realize that I'm an above average grader but there are plenty of others that do the same. And there are also plenty who don't care what the book looks like. Is it time to dig in or retreat?? I've held a gym for about 14 hrs (most of it being over night). The goal isn't to hold it for 24hrs cause like you said its not really possible. Its about holding a bunch at the same time (which means you need gyms in a close proximity) in doing so you can collect a whack ton of coins at once.

Quite a few accounts were sold on ebay alread. Although Ebay usually cancel's those listings. Similar to what happened with Warcraft accounts. I was tempted when I saw a level 22 account go for $1,500. okay i'm sorry if this is a dumb question.... but $1500 for a higher level character?... is the game all that? Whoever paid that much is stupid. Basically the higher the level you are the higher the guys you can catch. By having high level guys you can take over the local gyms. Taking over the gym gives you 10 coins per gym you own at the time (up to 10 gyms) per 21 hrs so in theory if your strong you can own 10 at the same time and collect 100 coins. The coins are the currency in game which you can pay for. 100 coins = $1.39.

Driving only works when you are going a really slow speed (reports of <20km an hour so call that like 12-13mph for you Americans). Several sites are already expecting to sell profiles and more. Kijiji (Craigslist) has ads up offering to training, drive, walk and provide opportunities to pick up cool pokemon.

no worries, Former comedian and now Senator Al Franken and some NY congressman are going to try and regulate the game...make it illegal or sue Nintendo for making a dangerous game. Maybe you guys can ban the sales on large pops while your at it

One of my eggs disappeared instead of hatching. Only a 2km egg, but still. To make matters worse, it still counted as a use for the incubator I bought. Oh the app is stupid glitchy right now. I get server issues daily and have to app kill it but hell its fun and brings back my early years.

my 2 10km eggs hatched today...I'm lvl 9 and I got an Electobuzz (its weak but cool) and a Jynx...already had a few of them so this one was a bust.

I took over my first Gym today...it didn't last long but did get 10 coins (in game currency). Team YELLOW!

When you find a pokemon there is a little slider up in the top right corner that says AR (if you turn it on your camera will appear and you can catch the buggers in your surroundings. Here is one of mine:

The manual is terrible. Bottom right corner is a box that shows shadows or the pokemon if you have encountered and caught them before. If you click it will bring up all the ones in your area. The least number of paw prints the closer you are to a pokemon. If you want a specific one click it and then walk in a direction if the paws go up turn around and go the other way. One thing that has been happening is that if there are no pokemon in the bottom right corner you aren't connected properly (they have had serious server issues). few tutorials online on how to do everything.

I've got 2 so far and both in incubators as of this evening...likely a few days before they pop. Only lvl 7 so nothing special (and my pokemon are mess)

This thread needs a bump after new new slabs have started showing up with puddling again...
