  1. Yeah, I agree with this. Ricks probably defiantly daring him to do his best. Kirkman prides himself to be un-predictable. It might show Negan what a bad-azz he truly is in the process. That's Jerel's speck-ulation on this cover. You want a great looking TWD book, give Cliff Rathburn a chance. My +1 on Cliff. Still think he should have had a variant cover for #100
  2. This just cracks me up http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/06/18/hyundai-developing-zombie-killing-car
  3. He had offers up to 500, from what I heard. As much as I wanted it for my set, I didn't feel like ponying up that amount. I bid like $325, with 5 seconds, and before I hit "enter" it was at $455 Oh well, the search continues
  4. I'd say you can find them anywhere from $20-$40 raw depending on condition. a 9.8 cgc just sold on ebay for about $200. Same thing for Capes #1. The prices vary because there aren't put up for sale very often. A 9.8 universal was sold last week for $455 on feebay
  5. In all honesty, I only bought the error variant for my registry set. Otherwise, the errors really don't interest me. I know when I started my collection, the 27 error use to be on the registry, but was deleted some time later.
  6. The second to last page is printed twice, making the story incomplete I have a 9.8 candidate myself, but I bought it late, so I don't have enough time to get it graded
  7. I found that line funny myself I'm awful tempted to message him I have pleny of slabs that have misprinted dates and info. To even think that a label mistake by CGC is a rarity, is hilarious
  8. The extent some sellers will go to create perceived rarity, never ceases to amaze me http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Walking-Dead-Issue-27-CGC-9-6-SS-Kirkman-First-Governor-Error-Misprint-/251080645806?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item3a75929cae
  9. According to GPA, a 4 sig copy sold for 2k back in May and another copy signed by two (Kirk and Moore) hit $1200. They are oddities, in that, everything else in the SS this year has been 7-850 Them crazy collectors
  10. Even a 9.6 sells at a decent price. It all comes down to what you have into the book. It would certainly be ideal to get a 9.8, but even a SS 9.6, depending on the total you have into it, could prove fruitful. There's a 9.6 SS on ebay right now, if you want to watch that auction and see how it does
  11. not yet You really want to win, don't you (thumbs u Only ten more days left for improvements
  12. It is a printing error, and both are first prints. They were all suppose to be white. Just don't ask about the print runs on those
  13. Spoiler warnings. Please guys. (thumbs u +1 For how long? Until the hardcover, book 8, comes out in October! I think it would only be fair...I mean I know we shouldn't talk about issue #49 either, for the people waiting for Compendium 2  Jim Apologies for the spoilers I was just teasing (trying to be funny) Jim It worked. I laughed. I'll use spoilers for a week tops. I didn't notice I was in the wrong thread. 9 times out of 10, I forget that this is NOT the Walking Dead thread when I start reading the posts So how about that Saga series

  16. That is one aspect of Walking Dead that I thoroughly enjoy... When characters die, they stay that way while Carl's injury was out there, it was a cross shot, that never hit his brain. Abraham took one straight through, and he had his guts tire out pretty sure it's over for him
  17. Yes sir. I was going to pick up a few, but those prices were too rich for me to bite on
