  1. Thanks and yes I saw this although I thought these Hulk 181’s were submitted for reholder but I was thinking that this scam could even be much bigger if scammers are using mechanical damage submissions to pull the swaps since they are supposedly not scrutinized as much. Basically a guy just hired from Pizza Hut swapping mechanically damaged cases for 8 hours a day while staring at his phone.
  2. Rookie YouTubers & back seat graders discovered fraud that CGC “experts” failed to find
  3. Perhaps it has been mentioned already but scammer could also be using ME to swap high grade books with qualified & restored books
  4. Fortunately a significant amount of investigation & discovery was done by the amazing board detectives or CGC would likely still be clueless. As far as interviewing former employees, they may not be able to locate them and even if they do they could tell CGC to pound sand just as current employees could do. The responsibility is on CGC to prove their allegations and nobody is legally required to tell them anything.
  5. CGC used some strong language like “to the fullest extent of law” but I highly doubt CGC wants their incomprehensible incompetence exposed through discovery during legal proceedings. If so I’ll definitely update my Pacer account to witness the dismantling of their 30 year clown show.
  6. CGC has been a complete debacle, ZERO quality control with upside down comics, incorrect labels, foreign objects inside slabs, scuffed slabs, Newton rings, puddling, swapped comics inside holders, THE COLE SCHAVE SCAM (thread was locked to protect the insiders) with inside sources and a plethora of other issues. CGC STINKS. The CGC Turd Slab has been a disaster and the only folks speaking in defense of CGC are some dealers with skin in the game and the usual CGC apologists. This current scam likely involves 1000’s of comics so expect CGC to lock this thread like they did the Cole Schave thread. Why not remove posts they think are offensive instead of lock the entire thread? You know why Fortunately I dumped most of my high value slabs over the last 10 years and the remainder will be sold soon. Sure everyone can say CGC is the best out there but compared to who? CBCS or PGX??? Also, the perpetrator of this current debacle will not be prosecuted or pursued in any manner so expect these same shenanigans to continue and get worse. Shoving comics in a plastic holder from Chinese vendors with cheap printed labels is not “high tech” regardless of how much people wish it to be so. I used to be one of those amoebas but I am no longer.
  7. Hilarious to see some predicting Musk failure with Twitter which is highly unlikely, crowds of bozos have bet against Elon for a long time and come up with doofus painted on their face. Twitter was only an echo-chamber of snowflakes which they should now all hold hands so Elon can melt them down together. The previous, worthless Twitter employees who were working about 2 hours a week can now use their liberal art & gender study degrees to peddle coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts.
  8. I’ve only dealt with MCS on one occasion but it couldn’t have been any better, the entire transaction was flawless. There were a few email communications and a phone conversation where I spoke to either Buddy or Conan (can’t remember, perhaps both). I sent them a list of what I wanted to sell along with an asking price, they generously countered and I accepted. Since I was in the area I dropped the books off, picked up a check for $17,000 and left. I was probably at their facility for less than 30 minutes. From my experience these guys are phenomenal.
  9. New York Times? Man you need to loosen the strap on your tin foil hat.
  10. I typically would use YouTube but lately the uploaded videos are low quality and limited file size so I've recently started using Google Drive and have uploaded very large videos without issue. I use a free software (Audacity) to modify music as needed and then the default Microsoft editor to add music to videos. Here a sample of a video I created from our Easter drive in the country ... for some reason it's not crystal clear as on my iPhone so I have some stuff to figure out. Country Drive Here's a YouTube sample from the Rockies Rockies Near Yellowstone These videos are unlisted but I think they should play since I'm providing the links. In any case, just play around with YouTube and Google Drive, you'll see it's fairly easy to upload and share videos.
  11. Was the soundman from Jackyl involved?
  12. Stan thanks for your contribution to the world.
