  1. I'll assume you're a fellow Canadian. Looks like you have some Canadian price variants in there!
  2. So last night I ended up binge watching Cobra Kai season 5. I think Disney should fire every single MCU tv writer and producer and have the whole CK team of writers and producers take over every upcoming tv show and have them run the universe a la Favreau/Filoni over at SW. Those ten new episodes had more fun and heart than every movie and show Marvel has put out after End Game put together.
  3. I hope No Way Home counts officially in this phase, because ALL of it was pretty hot garbage besides (and I'm a fanboy).
  4. What the heck, let's make this post my 2000th post after almost 20 years!
  5. Am I considered a lurker if I've been active throughout my 19 years here and (with this post) have a hair under 2000 posts?
  6. I don't care what anyone says, Canstantine was an amazing movie, and this comes from a huge Constantine/Hellblazer fan since from almost the very beginning. VERY happy about this.
  7. Herb Trimpe (and his family!) were the NICEST people...he's missed. And I have my Captain Marvel sketch he did for me up on my wall, and I have my Godzilla 1, Hulk 182 and MSH 16 (Herb's first work!) signed by him and tucked away in my PC. Good luck with the sale!!
  8. And ask nicely, with good grammar and full sentences...that goes a long way I've found ;)
  9. I find that anything Yost works on turns to gold. And that goes back to through his Avengers cartoon days as well.
  10. I didn't even realize season 3 had started...really enjoy this show!
  11. Yeah he was in a pretty rock and roll spot the last times I remember interacting with him. Ottawa I think?
  12. I don't even care how much it follows a comic storyline...just be GOOD.
  13. And what if the Canadian price variants were actually printed first because getting them to us up here is hard in a snowstorm? Thel ALL you other guys would own reprints!!
  14. MAybe it won't be so bad this time around. And at least them actually made an actual ending (unlike so many other shows and movies).
  15. I've seen people ask and get up to $80 for some of them, though a lot of them are still well under the $20 mark, especially when offered in lots. I love my SE 1 Alan Light reprint, and actually have it hanging on the wall with a cover homahe I comissioned a decade ago (while my real copy sits safely among my collection).
  16. Watched it on the weekend finally. I'm pretty forgiving...though this movie sucked (and I LOVER Ragnarok). The best thing about the movie by far was the goats. Made me laugh each time, while the rest of the movie made me roll my eyes constantly.
  17. No idea what CGC would do with them. I did notice that prices on them have gone up nicely over the past 3 or 4 years. Still not that expensice overall though.
  18. I think there would be a VERY decent market for high quality, true to size and printed on newsprint reprints of a lot of GA books that have fallen into public domain. I'd be willing to pay up to $20 or so for a copy of a book like that. And yes I already own a number of Alan Light books...they're so much fun!
  19. I'm up to episode 7 and still a killer (heh) show. I'll try to finish the season over the weekend!
  20. I'm not sure what this indicates, though I've been closely following the MCS weekly auctions for a few months now and have been keeping an eye on raw prices for books I plan to sending in/sell in the near duture. There has been an average of 20 pages of auctions for items up to the year 2000 (the only filter I use), and this weks auction is only 15 pages...seems quite a dip for a week to week comparison.
  21. That was me who described the show as plastic, and that was after I had watched only the first two episodes. After having finished the series, I can say as well that's how the whole thing felt, and it was a tonal mess. I guess I'll watch the following seasons, I hope they can improve upon what they've started as I absolutely do want this franchise to succeed.
