  1. More interesting would be a Genie just gives you a book, any book, in 9.9. It has to be a book that most OTHER people wouldn't want though. If someone else has asked him for the book already, you lose the wish AND your collection. THAT would be a nice gamble ;) EDIT: I'd wish fpor a Dippy Duck 1. Certain I'd get it ;)
  2. Nice! I'd do it until 175 though. After that it became jibberish, though up to then WELL worth the read.
  3. Agreed 100%. I've been collecting for ober 40 years and used to read pretty much everything up until 15 years ago or so. Stopped buying new books cold turkey. If digital books were .99, I might delve back into reading a bit a least, though at current prices there's zero chance.
  4. Exactly what I was thinking actually...I think you're right that that might be the best venue. I have a whackload of other books to move and could send them all down at once. Now, do I press before sending them. And do I put an agressive BIN o r let them run through auction. Would be fun to see where my Blip 1 CPV in a likely 9.0+ after pressing would fall.
  5. My very own epic thread! So I might be starting to sell off some of my books, including a bunch of key CPV. What's going to be my best outlet? All are raw btw.
  6. This sounds like me coming from the future ;)
  7. Maybe even 11 zeros worth!!! Then I'll buy a Captain America Comics 1.
  8. Insane. I guess I gotta keep my eyes on the market for my higher grade Blip 1 Canadian price variant. And my copy of Game Boy Comics 1 as well!
  9. I'll genuinely try! Considering I hated all the Batman movies EXCEPT BvS, I'm pretty sure I know how this'll play out.
  10. I'm going to hate this one too...I can feel it.
  11. Been researching and have checked GPA and auction results... What would the general value be of a Submariner 1 1941 CGC 8.5 Cream=Off White? What it should sell for right now? It's a little more than what I'm used to dealing with and would appreciate any opinions!
  12. WITH those two it's unbearable. Honestly, one of the absolutely least enjoyable movies I've seen in a long time. And I'm a Marvel guy. Ugh.
  13. Anxious to see it. I have A LOT of SA to early modern good stuff that I will be selling off (finally) in the next few months. MCS is a frontrunner for me.
  14. As well, I still have my CPV copy of this book I bought off the newsstand myself, and there was no tattoo in my copy. Whether CPV copies had Tattooz is a much discussed topic. Good luck with the sale!
  15. I have a bunch of higher grade DC horror from that period...I'll have to dig them out as well!
  16. Well, showing off my X-Men 1 was quite successful this year let me tell you.....
  17. None better than here in the birthplace of poutine, Quebec. And it is not pronounced "poo-teen"...it's pronounced "puts-in" btw

    Nobody

Regardless, was a pretty fun and enjoyable movie!
  19. If anyone here happens to be looking for a Batman 1 CGC 6.0 (OWW universal), let me know! Not kidding
  20. Man, the way these books keep popping out as "keys"...I have to keep going back through my comic closet of drek to keep pulling them out.
  21. I LOVE Dogwelder! My Hitman run is one of my prized posessions!!
  22. Maybe some sort of reference to the Yost Avengers cartoons where Secret Invasion was underway. The star was the difference, the was to tell the Skrull copies from the real heroes. A stretch...though maybe!
