I already have a #1, and I don't really collect Pence covers. I don't understand why someone would do a CT on a lower grade Red Sonja (Or any late bronze age book for that matter). It's not like you can't find a nicer un-restored copy in the same grade any day of the week. I guess since it's a Pence they're a little harder to find, but still, anything below a 9.6, and the value wouldn't change that much one way or the other. I mean an 8.5 isn't worth that much more than a 4.5. So what's the point of a CT? I actually have two raw #1's, and one of them came from England. It's a U.S. cover though. Seller said it was NM, but I'd say it was more like a 7.5. Here's scans of my raw #1's, and along with my 9.8 I'd say I am pretty well set for Red Sonja #1.
