We'll see if my theory about bronze age 9.6's holds true. Unless it's a Hulk #181 or ASM #121, #122, or #129, or anything along those lines, that they don't command very high prices like the 9.8's do. That last 9.8 Conan #44 went for almost $300.00, and I doubt this 9.6 coming up can reach half of that. Which, theoretically, should be it's value. The difference in condition should be noticeable, but compared to the 9.8 that just sold, I don't think this 9.6 book is any worse than the 9.8 with that weird upper left corner it had. If the 9.6 does hit $150.00 then you might ask if the 9.8 is really worth $150.00 more. The answer of course would be that there are only five of them, and if you want a 9.8, you're going to have to fork over the scratch to get one. Especially since the last one to go up for sale was about a year and a half ago. I was interested in it, but that corner and page quality kept me away. I didn't want to get into a bidding war over a book I wouldn't have been happy with, but who knows when another 9.8 will surface?
