  1. This beautiful #23 sold. http://www.ebay.com/itm/CONAN-THE-BARBARIAN-23-CGC-9-8-WHITE-pages-Barry-Windsor-Smith-1st-Red-Sonja-/141050744008?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item20d7478cc8&nma=true&si=a1AqB1FMNU9ziTHB4jYY6WRFwoM%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 Those #24's are nice too, but I'm thinking it will stay around the $525.00 range that they usually go for. Your book was in NY last time I checked. Post a pic when you get it.
  2. Bought a Marvel Spotlight #32 from Michael. Lightning fast, very secure shipping. Great price too. Thanks! Steve
  3. Published in 2000? Boy, they were late to the party. Maybe you could get Nei Ruffino to color it for you.
  4. Yeah, thanks! Buyer paid immediately, and it's on it's way.
  5. I already have a #1, and I don't really collect Pence covers. I don't understand why someone would do a CT on a lower grade Red Sonja (Or any late bronze age book for that matter). It's not like you can't find a nicer un-restored copy in the same grade any day of the week. I guess since it's a Pence they're a little harder to find, but still, anything below a 9.6, and the value wouldn't change that much one way or the other. I mean an 8.5 isn't worth that much more than a 4.5. So what's the point of a CT? I actually have two raw #1's, and one of them came from England. It's a U.S. cover though. Seller said it was NM, but I'd say it was more like a 7.5. Here's scans of my raw #1's, and along with my 9.8 I'd say I am pretty well set for Red Sonja #1. Copy "A": Copy "B":
  6. Red Sonja #8 in CGC 9.8 sells for $250.00. May be a new record.
  7. The 9.8 OW/W Conan #24 that was on eBay for months finally sold for $525.00. One of the nicest copies I've seen in a long time. Nicely centered too unlike many of them. If it wasn't for the page quality I would have jumped on it months ago. to whoever nabbed it.
  8. Wasn't it a #232 a page back? I personally don't like writing on my comics, and even though I'm a Marvel collector I definitely wouldn't want writing on that DC cover. Adams or otherwise. It was, I'm sorry. Getting my books mixed up again. I wouldn't be selling it and it would be for my collection. I'm just scared it would come back a lower grade. Neal has a lot of great prints available (more in person than on site it seems)... Get one of those signed, framed and hang it on the wall. I'd keep that 9.6 as it is! Thanks for the opinions guys! I'm going to get him to sketch on a blank cover of Batman #0 or something similar I think Yeah, that's a better idea. You can always have him sign the CGC case for the #232 too.
  9. Wasn't it a #232 a page back? I personally don't like writing on my comics, and even though I'm a Marvel collector I definitely wouldn't want writing on that DC cover. Adams or otherwise.
  10. Picked this one up last week. At least a 9.4 OW/W.
  11. Didn't that last 9.8 Conan #24 sell right at $500.00 on Heritage? Seems to hold it's value pretty well while the Savage Sword #1's keep dropping. Sunday's copy went for $339.00 ($405.00 W/BP). As for the Marvel Feature Vol. 2 #1 there are 24 9.8's. 22 Blue Label and 2 SS. That's rare enough considering it's the first book to have Red Sonja on her own. Plus it has that great Kane/Romita cover. One of the few books in the Red Sonja run to have an artist other than Frank Thorne working on it. Nice to see it's getting some respect.
  12. This seems to be a hot item at the moment. Last couple of sales have been at or over $300.00.
  13. Or you could go here and read the whole run for free. http://comicbookplus.com/?cid=1256
  14. Yeah, you think you're crazy? Check out this sellers Red Sonja listings. Hope you're sitting down. Apparently they didn't look to see what the other Dynamites aren't even selling for. Sheesh. http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_odkw=&_osacat=0&_armrs=1&_ssn=xnelbid4u&_trksid=p2046732.m570.l1313.TR9.TRC1.A0.Xred+sonja&_nkw=red+sonja&_sacat=0&_from=R40
  15. I saw that. Pretty crazy considering one went for $76.00 on eBay a couple of months ago, and the same book was for sale here for $150.00 a week later. Don't know if it ever sold though. Check the registry and see who the latest entry is. Nice job though. I think it might be a record price for #1. There was a #3 on Heritage that went for $385.00 that Gyro and myself still talk about.
  16. Look at it this way. She does appear in #23, but she's on the cover of #24, and it's the last Barry Windsor-Smith art for Conan. She doesn't appear in a chain mail bikini until Savage Sword of Conan #1 (her 3rd app.). All three issues go for roughly the same amount in 9.8. Give or take a few bucks. Pick one or all, they're great books to read and have.
  17. Just nabbed this beauty. Four more to go!
