  1. No. Actually, some of the ones I have are the only graded copies, and there's still no #7 or #13. Those, and the #3 are going to be the hardest to find. I actually found the #3 and paid for it, but never received it. After a month or so PayPal gave me my money back. Some famous rock 'n roll guy opened a comic store online, but it failed, and he has the #3. Never responded to my emails or Facebook messages. So what can I do? Trying to find a raw one worth grading. Here's a pic of the graded #3.
  2. If anyone cares, Red Sonja Vols. 2 and 3 have been added to the registry. Thanks again Gemma!
  3. No I looked at it but it was picked up by a big time collector. I did see it though and it was very cool. Yeah, this was the one I was thinking of. For some reason I thought it was yours, but it's owned by Gene Park. I saw you guys talking about these covers in a thread on here. Just amazing work by both Thorne on this MF Vol.2 #6, and Cockrum on your #15 RS cover.
  4. Craig, that double cover is awesome! Joe, don't you have some of the Marvel Feature Vol. 2 original art as well? on the #15 cover art. That is amazing!
  5. I really just come here for the abuse.
  6. Just realized I joined this site exactly two years ago today. I actually joined to try and find these books. Hopefully it won't take two more to find the last two I need.
  7. Ladies and gents, for your viewing pleasure, the newest additions to my Red Sonja collection. Thanks to Craig. Without whom these would not have been possible.
  8. Thanks for reminding me. I just removed those books from my registry.
  9. Yeah, it's a biggy! There are TPB versions too that are much cheaper, but finding a first edition hardcover with the dust jacket is near impossible, and the price is outrageous. Reprints many stories featuring the main female characters from the Marvel Universe. If you can think of one, she's in there. At least up to '77 when it was produced. I think back then the artists and writers were paid to do the job, and once paid, Marvel owned the stories so they could do whatever they wanted with them. Dynamite owns Red Sonja now, and they have reprinted all of the old stories in the, "Classic Red Sonja Remastered" books. Issue #50 even reprints Red Sonja #1. I doubt they paid the artists and writers once they paid Marvel for the rights to publish, but Maroto, Romita and Brunner have done covers for Dynamite's Red Sonja books. So while they may not be getting royalties for their previous Marvel work, at least Dynamite had respect enough to have them do some amazing covers for the newer series.
  10. Ever see this? Apparently quite rare, and expensive. Especially for a hardcover copy with the dust jacket, but look who it is to the left of Sue Storm. Our gal painted by the great John Romita Sr. Reprints Marvel Feature Vol. 2 #4.
  11. Yeah, it's pretty brutal, and you have to consider shipping on top of that. I've yet to buy anything from them to this day. Mostly because of that dreaded BP.
  12. So does eBay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Savage-Red-Sonja-QOTFW-3-Virgin-Cover-CGC-SS-9-8-WP-Frank-Cho-/281087215791?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item41721a88af
  13. Just rumors. The people that own the rights have been trying for the last four years to make it. Supposedly there's a -script, but who knows? Here's the latest I've heard on it.
  14. I think the problem is that they were never preserved. I was looking at eBay UK today for some, and there's quite a few around, but the condition was pretty low on most. Basically reader copies, and you can get U.S. copies of those for a buck or two. So why pay for the shipping just to get a low grade copy? I mean they're not impossible to find and a 6.0 or 7.0 doesn't seem to be worth the trouble. I think the best one I saw was an 8.5, but like most bronze age books, if it's not a 9.8 (or higher) no one wants them. Even a 9.6 in most cases is a death sentence, and not worth the cost of grading. It's crazy I know, but even the four 9.8's I need to finish my set of Vol. 1 are impossible to find, yet raw copies are everywhere in low grade. Going to be even harder to find pence copies in that high grade. The ones you have now may be the only ones to ever get graded. So at least you have that going for you. You just have to keep on hunting them down.
  15. So, have you submitted this list to Gemma?
  16. Great list, but isn't Marvel Feature Vol. 2 #1 the only issue printed in '75? I believe the other six issues were printed in '76.
  17. No. They list it as Fine. The graded 8.0 Very Fine on eBay a few weeks ago went for less then half of that, and only two people wanted to bid on it. Don't you already have one of these? Not sure if there's a bend, but definite color break. One can only assume it got dog eared sometime in the past. I've never bought from Mile High. Didn't you get your #10 from them? Anyway, I think in that condition it's way over priced.
  18. Insane, I know. It was fun to watch though. Let's see what comes down the pipe next.
  19. I guess you weren't joking. Hammer falls at $456.02. Insane!
  20. Marc Silvestri's original art for Red Sonja #4 (Dynamite). I came across this on an old Dynamite thread from '07. Don't know if it's still owned by the same person. An amazing piece though. I have the foil, RRP, and even the glow in the dark cover (which is almost impossible to find), but for me, this is the holy grail of Red Sonja original art.
  21. Check out this Turkish cover swipe from Marvel Feature Vol. 2 #1.
