  1. Well it is now over 25.5 M with over 200 lots to go...anyone say 26M?
  2. This is a possibly of another book, I have seen a AF 15 which is a strong 9.6 or a weak 9.8.....depending on the month submitted for grading, that book in my opinion would be the most valuable comic book in the world, at 5M, it will be sometime before the lifelong collector will part with it, its not mine, I collect GA but this person is keeping no matter what...forever and a lot of his books are ungraded as well as he does own some graded books bought over the years. Otherwise the MH A1 for me.
  3. Pedigree story 1-Promise 2 Gaines 3-SF..Riely killled in WW2 4-Church 5-pick them
  4. 1- CHURCH 2-SF 3 Gaines 4-Promise 5-Pick them, Billy, etc
  5. I noticed some promise books broke some records, like the Crimes by Women at 26K and comments by the board members on the record prices, this is nothing compared to the complaining about the MIle HIgh and SF pricing 50 years ago. Let me say this on the record, the prices paid today for Promise OO pedigreed books will look like bargains after the last OO Promise book is sold and there are no more. When these books hit resale and all the waiters who have sat by the sidelines, saying this is costs too much, wait till that last auction of OO Promise books and wait till you see the resale prices when the final action is done. Do not wait, this collection will go down as one of the top 5 greatest OO pedigree collections of all time and over time, for what this collection really is, it will gain in stature just as the SF/MH collections have grown over the next 5-10 years. We are seeing world record prices for world record once in a lifetime quality material. you pay for what you get, but if you pay a bit more for quality, in the long run it pays off. Especially this amazing number of 9.6/ 9.8 GA books....these are not replaceable some for any price.
  6. New price point record broken today...over $25,000,000.00 with 330 Lots to go...could hit 25.5...WOW
  7. Records continue to be broken, one auction to go...$ total so far $24,274,271.00
  8. the price for this book is going to skyrocket after this sale, also check out Cap 1.....180K
  9. Final total Thru today is $21,446,310...two auctions to go on Sat including another promise auction
  10. Already over 21,0000.00 today, wow that peanuts sunday at 360K...wow...world record auction without A1 or D27....amazing, over today on OA with 20 lots to go.
  11. I followed the entire HA auction today, total so far over $18,600,000....Let me say this GA books are a bargain or a steal compared some of the marvel later and prices for like x-men #1 in 6.5 etc....I think when the dust settles, GA and especially high grade GA or Promise books will have a lot of growth ahead.
  12. $18,160,000...with two days to go, we will break the world record for a comic auction....
  13. The GA/SA/OA market today shows after over 6M in HA sales, without the AF 15 yet, that the market is not interested in an unrelated video game or whatever scandal. We have had many scandals including the Ha/NP Gresham or whoever phantom bidder, the Mastro scandal which included cards and comics etc, even in the early 70's say 74..the dealer who if he did not buy them, he would have his friends steal them...strange stuff, but the GA/SA market has gone up for the last 50 years and will continue to go up in 2022. the GA/SA comic book market is so large now, and international now, it is very hard for one company or person to control or manipulate it. The smaller original comic book art market is another story which I would assume easier to control. I see our GA/SA comic book world charging forward in a positive direction for some time. Look at Cap #1 today...$180,000.00...that book still has yet to hit ceiling.
  14. Amazing $6,747,668 without the AF 15 which is tommorow...wow...Promise books broke 2.5M very impressive...the market is rock solid.....
  15. I think the odds increase of a 1962 raw book higher graded copy clearly is in the AF15 favor as opposed Action 1. I agree we do not know, but I would be much safer with the total number of graded copies of Action 1 vs AF to say once you get to the lofty 2/3 M dollar price range, what I am saying is I would sleep better at night knowing my 2/3M is in Action 1 rather than AF 15 from a purely business or investment risk factors. That being said, I know of at least one ultra high graded AF which has not been graded conservative, in the 9.6 range from a very long term collection as well as ungraded Action #1's so we can say with reasonable certainty that the census will change over time. I agree with Pemart thinking...whether a 9.8 or a 9.6 hits is a matter of time. The effect will be unknown as to the whether it ups the stakes on the existing copies, but I would say a 9.8 record breaking might actually increase all the under copies whether it is Action 1 or AF15...time will tell....
  16. If you read the fine print, there is a 20% buyer fee, where does it say they are waving that fee?
  17. I look forward to your great reports, thank very much for outstanding posts.
  18. The current Goldin auction of AF15 8.5 also accepts Bitcoin with a 1/2 of 1% fee, I think its about 450K now, it is their first auction as they also have a TOS 39 and Batman 1 8.0, it is about 20 top flight books
  19. same here...anything goes, but a strong possible shot at a world record for a comic book....
  20. hope for a full recovery, one the giants of the industry.
  21. over 2.8 M now, looks like my 3.0 is gonna get blown away
  22. With the under market on AF #15 8.0 exploding up like 300K in price, when and if the AF 15 cracks the 3.0 or 4.0 million, look for fractional ownership to become a reality on Mega Key, high grade books, its comiing like it or not.
  23. If it goes over 3M look for additional market fire on lower grades
  24. Great book, great cover, great TCBC owner...perfect and Cong
