  1. Dr. Strange will certainly be the anchor character to connect the Marvel Cinematic Universe together thru ~ 2032, much the way Iron Man handled that role from 2008 thru 2019. The Illimunati (Strange, Xavier, Richards et al.) will be a big part of it all, with the FF and X-Men layered in to the next 25 or so MCU films until the big finale Secret Wars film where they bring it all together and bring back the Avengers (2031/32?). At least, that's where I think this is all headed. So, yeah, ST 110 should remain a strong seller this decade.
  2. Hi. Go to your user profile on HA and you can change your settings so that the default is nothing is auto-listed unless you consent.
  3. Dark Phoenix is not bad at all. It's fundamental flaw is that it was one hour too short. But otherwise perfectly watchable.
  4. She looks equally stunning nearly 30 years apart in age.
  5. Something we're also missing Q1 2022 which we had last Q1 was a damn good Marvel Studios Disney+ TV show -- WandaVision, featuring two Avengers from the films. The quality and hype of WandaVision which started in early January carried into March and helped light the comic market on fire. Books you couldn't give away, like FF94 and MS4, suddenly became red-hot. (Yes, there were other forces at play, but the new Disney+ slate going live was a big force.) Then, in Q2 Disney+ gave us the pretty good FATWS. The hype carried through into the Summer with everyone's favorite villain Loki, adding more fire to Avengers 8 and other books. We don't have any of that hype the first three months of this year. Moon Knight is hitting D+ tomorrow and i think many people (I am one) are underwhelmed with what we saw from the trailers (didn't look anything like Moon Knight to me, and I was a big fan, and still have my OO copies of, the Moench-Sinkiewicz run from '80 to '84 or so). The stills that we have seen from the next D+ series, She-Hulk, are also uninspiring. Remember this scene at the very end of the last episode of WandaVision? Maybe the Dr. Strange movie will contain enough surprises to give the market a jolt.
  6. No, i'm referring to NWH. Venom 2 i saw a few days ago on an airplane with my daughter. It's a simple but perfectly serviceable movie. Very 90s simplicity to it.
  7. I saw it 4 times in theaters -- loved it! And I thought I was picky. By contrast, i fell asleep watching The Batman the second time, which i had to see a second time because I fell asleep watching it the first time.
  8. Whenever the next Spidey film is announced, this will begin to go up again. My guess is that, by November we will hear about the next Spidey film.
  9. Very true. A lot of young/younger collectors want a piece of history, a piece of a grail. A slabbed interior page of a mega-key looks great in a book case as a display, and one doesn't have to be paranoid about keeping it locked up, in the darkness, and out of sight. I also see these as decent little investments. They're only going up in price!
  10. With AF 15, yes, and the trickle down effect will happen (it already is) to the other major Marvel SA keys (JIM 83, TOS 39, ASM 1, etc). I recently purchased a Hulk 1 page, which i wouldn't have purchased 6+ months ago. It's a no-brainer.
  11. Don't listen to the Negative Nellies and Debbie Downers that experience self-therapy when they post that we're in a vintage comics market bubble and that it's all going to crash and burn. Oh, and learn how to grade a comic book (i mean, really learn how to do it) before buying raw vintage comics. Oh, and buy from experienced, highly reputable dealers that know how to grade.
  12. Bob, in situations like this, when a new jack#@$ customer breaches a contract, you need one of these wheels:
  13. I had the privilege of entering the Graceland mansion 3 weeks ago. To anyone that has not visited, all i can say is it is a breathtaking, must-see experience. Yes, the word is that his OO comic books (presumably many Jrs and Masters (?)) are up in the attic of Graceland, untouched since he moved to Graceland in 1954 from his parents' Lauderdale Courts apartment in downtown Memphis. Did he acquire some of those comics when he was a child/tween when he lived in Tupelo Miss? Likely, as he would have been ~ 14 when he moved from Tupelo to Memphis. In any event, time will tell, if Lisa Marie and mom Priscilla, who manage his estate, ever release these comics to the market. Note the lightning symbol on Elvis' tombstone. "TCB [lightning symbol]" was his motto, Taking Care of Business in a Flash.
  14. Updated dealer list for this old-school comic book show: Borderlands, Heroes Aren't Hard To Find, SuperWorld Comics, Dave & Adams, Nerdy Girl, Mike Carbonaro, Tomorrow's Treasures, Hiram's Collectibles, TFTV, A&M Comics & Books, Dr. Comics, Nick GQ Comics, Design Crafters, Past Present & Future, Goblin's Heist, Glen Cohen Books, Carlito's Comics & Collectibles, KnowWhere Comics, Zoso Comics, LP Comics, Steve-O Comics, Mike O'Reilly Comics, Flash GCT, Eddy Cespedes Comics, Miami Trader, Jersey Jack https://themiamicon.com/
  15. PPP to me is just a quick reference of where a particular book is exhibiting pricing that runs parallel with the grading point, esp in the 1.0 to 5.0 range. It can quickly become stale/inapplicable depending on the book. That said for a lot of DC SA keys, PPP is still handy dandy.
