Not only that, but he'll get a whole lot thinner.
Would this be considered smashed to a Pulp Fiction?

Crime and Punishment 55. Not the most reliable way to commit murder but very creative.
Yep, gets an "A" for creativity and efficiency if he takes out all three. I have to question his method of dropping it from the 2nd floor though.

Agree. They are awesome! Great artists and a peak time for Marvel covers in the early 70's with Kane and Romita leading the way.
Since were talking about MTU. Why isn't there a MTU thread? Or is there?

Great DC Horror & Tec books though!
Tongue in cheek, as opposed to other places.

First, let me state that I'm not a price variant collector. But, the story behind this recent purchase goes like this.......
Eight year old me was standing at the spinner rack in my local convenience store. Among my choices were this book, which instantly popped out at me due to the cover, and the fact that it was ¢35 while most others were still ¢30. I spent the extra nickel and opted for this one, cause I already had the #1 issue. Took it home, read it, and laid it on top of a magazine rack where it stayed for years.(for some reason I always kept this book on top) It stayed there until I was about 17 years old, when I traded to a friend of mine who came over and looked through my books. It was a book that I saw every time I walked into my room as a kid for almost ten years. So, when I saw it this week in this condition, I brought it "home".

Putting together a Batman run. Started with #217 since I believe it was the first book on stands in 1970 (Published December 1969), but may go back a few and start with #214 (1st 15 cent copy). Either way haven't decided where the ending point is going to be. Thought about ending it around 1980 with issues #318/319 but am not sold on that exact ending point just now. Anyway here is a few I received this week, with #227 arriving Monday.

From March 1951 Amazing Detective Cases. I was hypnotized by the colors on this cover since I first laid eyes on it. This title turned into a suspense/horror title near the end of the run, which I admittedly don't care for as much. The early issues have some amazing cover art.
