My late father bought me the book in 1966. I was fortunate enough to have Spoon Sprang autograph the splash to Joker’s Millions at WonderCon thirty years ago.

Just picked this beauty up today at my favorite second hand book store, Kayo Books, owned by Maria and Ron. Looks practically new.

You gotta love Isaac Paul Rader covers! Here are three of my favorites. The librarian book is super tough. Only saw one copy in five years.

The character from Underground great artist, Robert Crumb, is the first thing I thought of when I saw the forum name. I cleaned up the naughty bits, but you can find it on google.

Robot Man, You are always thoughtful, generous, and optimistic. Don’t let other’s negativity ever get you down. I retired almost eleven years ago. I would remind my employees that everybody whines and complains, but the truly valuable employees complain much less and are able to figure out how to solve critical issues efficiently, accurately, and quickly. Everybody is nice when things are going well, but the true measure of a person is how they respond when things go badly. Robot Man, you are one of the really good guys!

Sold at my LCS at $6.99, yet Woodridge had the standard variants at $50 for both covers, no autograph. Artwork looks pretty good. Unfortunately, my LCS could not get any premium variant covers, since he would have to buy more copies than he can sell.

1974 Berkeley Comic Con at the Pauley Ballroom on the UC Berkeley Campus. I bought Four Color 386 (First Uncle Scrooge), Weird Science 9 and 19. I still have the comic books and upgraded copies. Years later, I bought an original art page from Weird Science 19 drawn by the great Wally Wood.

Nowadays, the hotel rooms are $375 a night with a $50 per night parking charge, only for hotel guests. I got the hotel room from a vendor buddy, who has early access to nearby hotels. .

Some doofus is buying up all the Tec180s, so I only have eleven copies, including three from bon vivant, Harley Yee. Just got delivered a few minutes ago. Without ringing the doorbell, the FedEx guy shot put the box over our ten foot gate, despite the box being marked fragile. Harley did a great job of packing.

I only have the Doc Savage pin compliments of Robot Man. I have met Robot Man in person, and found him to be even cooler in the flesh than his forum persona, if that is possible.

I will post the Weird Tales that I was happy to buy from mistermystery. One of you guys must have the Breckinridge Elkins stories from Action Stories pulps?
