  1. The donation issue is a tricky one. Believe it or not, there are many libraries, schools. and other institutions that simply do not want them. Schools do not want the 90's bad girls drek for their middle schoolers. Libraries are not going to stock 90's drek and early 2000's commons. It's not just a content issue but the durability of the comic. Shelf space, even at a library and school are very valuable. So they really don't seem to want them. Now they do seem to take TPBs.
  2. Updated with: "PM Sharon or myself" if you want anything in the post. @skypinkblu (Sharon if you have any suggestions for this to run smoothly let me know) OK... I want in on this... I will drop ship a couple of things from my Amazon Prime account to a board member stuck at home. I am asking we go by the honor system here. So Sharon's rules apply. These things should go toward kids of first responders as well as those people who... well, things could be going better for you. Nothing is better than Lego... not even comic books. One per kid please... again the honor system. I was going to say one per household but we all know that if child A gets something when child B doesn't it causes more problems. Sets are subject to availability. So, if it is sold out on Amazon we will pick something else that is a definite upgrade. So what will happen is that you claim what you want / would like for your kids through PM be contacting Sharon or myself. I will buy it on Amazon but have it shipped to you from Amazon. Your choices! Let's see how this goes... and then we will go from there. LEGO City Police Patrol Car 60239 Building Kit (92 Pieces) LEGO DC Batman: Batman vs The Riddler Robbery 76137 Building Kit (59 Pieces) LEGO Speed Champions Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Race Car 75891 Building Kit (198 Pieces)
  3. I figure that one was okay since he is no longer the Pope. It's like poking fun at the Lincoln Assassination... We should be good.

  5. I want to point out that I finally took the time to update my block list on eBay. Darin Verdoni did not change his eBay name. He has another one. The old ones seem to no longer be registered or seem to be abandoned. This is a guy that for whatever reason eBay identifies as someone they do not want on their system CGCSpideys seems to have registered in March of 2020. So this one is fairly new... let's see how long it lasts because I doubt Darin has learned his lesson.
  6. Apparently he still live in Floral Park... I wonder what he is doing in his retirement?
  7. @STORMSHADOW_80 That's interesting... and now I have an example. There are a couple of things I am interesting in seeing how he realized certain aspects of the design. We seem to have arrived at a couple of the same points as far as the structure of the nose as well as the boarding ramp. His ramp is an easier build but it is offset with the hinge on the outside. I embedded my hinge into the hull with the trade off being a slight gap. I REALLY didn't like the nose though. When I saw that he had a similar idea, I went with a redesign making the use of a car fender in the front to preserve the bubble front. I only had a spare right fender in gray so I added it to the list of parts I need. I am definitely going with the 3x4x1 roofing slope though as he seems to have done. I like the way it looks but will be arcing it up a bit more as it gets to the top. Changes I made on the initial design... Redesign the front a bit Raised the height of the cabin by one - two plates built a bumper in front of the nose marked off a bit more what is going where. initial design vs current design
  8. I wound up looking that one up... PayPal business loan - took some time to find
