I'm having this problem again since Wednesday afternoon. I was getting emails Wednesday morning but sometime during the day they stopped. I checked and I should have gotten notices from a couple of watched sales threads and one PM. I haven't received any emails since. I have not changed any settings. I signed out and back in and toggled some settings off and on to see if that might make something happen but it didn't.  I did get one email from CGC, something about concert posters. I don't know if this means anything . I just thought I would mention it since I get emails from CGCcomics.com. Just nothing from the forum. I waited a few days to see if they would start again but they did not.

My email is working fine for everything else, it's only the CGC chat boards.

I think the eighth is the one that looks like a shadow behind her leg. It does look odd though. Maybe it was added there because one was left out by mistake

Here's the behavior I'm seeing. Activities that sent notifications are in green, the ones that didn't send notifications are in red.

1. If I'm following a specific thread, I get notifications when someone replies to that thread.
2. If I'm following a forum section (ex: Comics General), I get notifications when a new thread is posted within that section.
3. If I'm following a forum section, I do NOT get notifications when someone replies to an existing thread within that section.
4. If I'm following a forum section, I do NOT get notifications when someone posts a new thread in a subsection of that section (ex: If I'm following Comics General, I will NOT get a notification if a new thread is posted under "Comics related - Movies, TV, Video games")
5. If I'm following a forum section, I do NOT get notifications when someone replies to a thread in a subsection of that section.
6. If I'm following a user, I get notifications when that user posts a new thread.
7. If I'm following a user, I get notifications when that user replies to an existing thread.

3/4/5 seemed a little counter-intuitive to me, but I confirmed with the boards vendor that they work that way on purpose. I believe the intent is to try to avoid spamming people with a million notifications that they wouldn't actually want.

If you're not getting notifications for 1/2/6/7, I would be interested to know what specific thread/section/user you're following that doesn't send them. I'd also be interested to know if both types of notifications aren't working (email + notification list), or if it's just the email notifications that aren't working. It's possible that your email program is moving notification messages to Spam or something else along those lines, which is what I would suspect if the email notifications are the only ones you're not getting.

1,2 6, 7 are exactly the ones that I was not getting. Now I have been getting a lot of them but they are mostly late. Basically I'm getting a flood of all the email notifications that I've missed since this started. One example, my notification for this post came today. So I was notified on a Thursday  of a reply posted on a Monday.

It's just the email notifications, the notification list seems to be working. Most of the threads I follow are in the gold for sale section. But there are others as well. Here's a couple -

I may try a different email address and see if that makes a difference

So I'm getting the occasional email throughout the day but they're all from 2 or 3 days ago. I know this isn't a problem with my email account since the black Friday spam is coming in non stop along with my normal email.
