At about age 8, a friend and I were playing this. I hit him in the temple with one of these heavy darts. His mom woudn't let him come over to play anymore.
Yeah, kids definitely shouldn't have been playing with these. When I was around 6 or 7 i got one Jart from a rummage sale. Me and a friend just went out to the school playground and started throwing it straight up as high as we could. Luckily we didn't get hurt but I can imagine this type of behavior went on a lot with these. And with much worse results.

Here's a book I have that is obviously very low grade but it is complete. The 2 original staples are there but there are three staples that have been added. I can tell the cover would be detached from the original staples but I'm not sure what the rest of the book would be like if the added staples were not there. As far as grading this - would it be better to keep the three staples in the book or remove them? Would staple holes be preferable to added staples? Would it even matter for a low grade book like this?
I realize that if the three staples were removed I could end up with loose pages as well as the detached cover. I can't see the original staples at the centerfold because of the placement of the three added staples, but it seems possible that all the pages could still be held in by the original staples. Any opinions are appreciated

Ah, Mouse trap the game I never actually played! All I would do is put it together and spring the trap. It also reminds me of the Which Witch? game, which I played a lot.

Childhood Memories: The Toys of the Silver and Bronze Age

How about this? Sometimes the best toys were home made. We didn't call these tennis ball cannons though. The ones I remember were made with the old tin beer cans. The one in the pic is Pringles cans but it's the only decent pic I could find.
