BriD. reacted to D2 in CGC Announces Price and Policy Changes
Yeah, I ruffled feathers.
Good on you guys.
You fight in a vacuum where CGC can't say anything back about your constant complaining.
King of the hills.

BriD. got a reaction from 1950's war comics in Funko pops to pitch 30M of inventory into a landfill!
In 2018 or 19 Funko donated many cases of pops to my wife. Her niece, who was about 10 years old at the time and a special needs child wanted to do a comic con at her school to raise money. That's what was supposed to happen. Due to lock down and the remote learning that followed (and her neice moving shortly after) this event never happened. So we were stuck with them.
We decided to give them away on Halloween. Word got out and we had more kids than ever at our house (we did have candy also). It was great! The kids loved them and all funkos were given away. I suppose many of them have already found their way to the landfill but at least there was some enjoyment there.

This is great! I don't believe I've ever seen "piece of tape removed" as a note before

I have more than a few restored books, but these are the ones I won in the Berk Auction (while everyone else was busy buying the Mile Highs;)

My modest entry in this thread. I bought this book back in 2016. Shortly after, when placing the book in a mylar sleeve, a piece of the cover came loose. A subsequent search for a better copy did not turn up anything so I finally submitted it for grading last year.
