  1. Yes in the long run it will improve. She was a good new character. Unfortunately, the writing went south quickly on the title. You can substitute 'Spider-Gwen' or the new 'Spider-Woman' for 'Silk' and it would be the same story. I never really cared for the new Ms. Marvel for story or art.
  2. Thank you. Could only find them raw but they looked nice enough to pick up. Not as fancy as some others on here
  3. Bought 3 moderns from Nate. Very high grade 9.4+ material including 2 Hughes cover comics. Awesome books and shipped safely. No problems here.
  4. This is the one I remember too, and the Star Trek Motion Picture ad as well.
  5. Not a fan of the Matt Smith era. Amy was fine. Why did they need to introduce Rory. I'm not really interested in going over the episodes of that era again. Love Capaldi! I like dark. He has a lighter side that comes through as well. I saw the Christmas special yesterday. It was entertaining. I'm not sure what to make of the new companion in the upcoming season trailer. Someone already beat her with an ugly stick. I hope she has a good personality.
  6. Classic FF. Great stories too. That was a great time for Marvel. Stellar copies!
  7. When you really figure it this is one of those books that is popular for a strange reason. A costume change of all things. Thankfully for the character it was an improvement from the earlier one. It's as if it was gimmick before gimmicks were even invented.
  8. I can't remember the last time I've seen a 9.0 or better on the market. Is this book tough to find in higher grades because of the dark cover?
  9. Purchased ASM 165,166 from Collin. Extremely high grade copies. Safely packaged. I hope to purchase more copies like this on the board.
  10. I noticed both Superman issues beat the ASM title. That has to send shockwaves to Marvel. Batman titles are doing well. Without the Marvel #1s that's an extremely bad month for them but I can't see how they got 39% market share.
  11. Not really. He is buying 100's of thousands of comics for 5- to 10 cents on the dollar.....and according to his newsletter he has to postpone his "east coast" buying trip for a couple of weeks...to get even MORE We are all so very impressed by this................ NOOOOOOOT X-Men 1 '92?
  12. A little surprising a cult movie from years gone by still commands a large #1. I wonder if anything brand new will ever get a large kick off. Marvel slightly edged D.C. In market share. Batman and AS Batman are still popular. JL is not bad either. I will read the digital volumes when they come out. They weren't interesting enough to buy the books for me.
  13. For Daredevils, just the 86. Of course, even with what seems like hundreds of SA/BA Daredevils in the next ComicConnect auction there's no #86 there. I could be waiting for a while On my list too. I can't remember every seeing that one offered anywhere. I'm making very small progress on my list, just chipping away here and there where I can find them. The exchange rate and higher shipping costs are slowing me down more than I thought also.
  14. Thanks. What are you searching for these days?
  15. Isn't their grading circumspect? If you amass all those books and hold on to them so long, he wouldn't seem the type to flood the market with them. He would seem more like the type to be buried with them. Anyone, can amass long boxes of drek.
  16. Can someone tell me if Rebirth kept the continuity for all the DC characters or did they switch it up again? Also, what happened to Nightwing? Is his identity secret again?
  17. I'd chime in but one of by books is in the queue to get pressed before it even gets to the grading company.
  18. You may be right but that series and reboot as good as it was never took off in collector value. Strange how things work out.
