From then on, he was forever a staple for Spider-Man and Marvel for me. His voice and look was so distinct and friendly. Comics have changed so much. You wish they could continue as it was. Their standards by my recollection have a lot to do with eye appeal and not strict docking for various flaws by quantity or size as CGC strictly states.

You don't need any reason to refuse to sell to any customer. The fact that you don't want to based on ethical reasons is admirable. I wish more people and businesses had that attitude. I don't think you are wrong to refuse his business.

Has to be Romita Sr. I can see he's in the lead. McFarlane had a good take on the character. I would probably pick Ramos 2nd and then Romita Jr, but honestly after this series I didn't care much for Jr's work anywhere else.

One of my favourite Batman artists of all time. He was doing Detective in the era where Batman just took off around the first dark Batman movie in 1989. His work captured the action I would have expected from a fighting Batman.

You probably have the best answers from the experts already. My observations: If their is a CCA stamp on the cover, it won't be SA. Also, if there is a physical size difference between two successive issues, the smaller one is BA. Likewise, the UPC box disqualifies it as BA.
