Adventure Comics #258 - $25 Note tear top bc at spine

Phantom Stranger #3 - SOLD Nice tight clean copy. Note some spine ticks. Neal Adams.

Incredible Hulk #135 - $20 Tight, glossy, nice colors. Nice Kang cover/appearance.

Daredevil #43 - SOLD Nice, tight, glossy. Note a fingerprint smudge at middle top of logo. Classic Kirby cover. Photo is slightly blurry, I can take another if you need.

Amazing Spider-Man #71 - $20 There's a kid's name written on the bottom fc. Rusty staples.

Next up are three Batman 100 page giants. They are all pretty nice. Batman #255 - $25 Batman #254 - $25 Detective Comics #438 - $20 or take all three for $60 These are all squarebound and have the production related challenges normal for those. The #254 has a small split at top of spine.

Marvel Team-Up #15 - $45 First appearance of The Orb, which apparently makes this valuable, because in a world where the first White Rabbit is considered a key, any dumb thing can happen!! Don't get me wrong, I love the Orb. But really.

Wow Comics #48 - $40 This has old water damage. Rusty staples, pages have that dirty feel from old wet books. Spine has some crusty chipping issues. The cover seems to be attached, but I'll be honest, I'm not sure how. It looks detached, but seems to be holding together by forces beyond my ken. Real cool cover that looks nice in mylar, though.

Girls' Romances #3 - $40 Early DC romance! Bottom staple is detached. Top is still holding on. Cool date stamp if you're into that sort of thing, as I am. No idea on pricing, so just making something up.

Phantom Stranger #14 - $35 Solid copy in the VG range. Prototype (?) for Swamp Thing? This apparently came out between HoS #92 and Swamp Thing #1, and was written by Len Wein. Reads to me like him figuring out the idea. The swamp rises up at the end to protect the Earth from ecological danger in the form of a bad guy.

Black Cat Western Mystery #54 - $30 Rusty staples, some migration, especially at bottom staple. Bottom staple is detached. Piece out of back cover. The title that could not decide on a genre!

Ghost Rider #2 - $70 This is a nice mid-grade copy with a lot of gloss. It has one notable issue, which is visible in both pictures: both staples are significantly impacted. They are both still attached, however. Pricing is a little hard to figure on this book, and in this grade, so I'm just winging it.

Fantastic Four #25 - $55 This is the worst copy of Fantastic Four #25 you will ever see. A few notes on this book: First, I have not opened this book in 13 years, since I bought in in 2009. And I will not open it now which is why there's only a picture of the front cover in the bag. I'm not going to take photos of the back cover, just assume it's as crappy as, or even worse than, the front. Secondly. though I believe this is complete, I can't be sure, because, as I just noted, I am not going to open it. In 2009 I opened and read this book once. I don't remember anything missing. However, I do remember having to read the comic while covering my face with a wadded up towel, because this comic smells like the devil's armpit. Specifically, it smells like a cat peed on it, and then died on it, and then was buried in it. The fumes are like the River Styx. Finally, this is an exception to my return policy. I will not take this book back under any circumstances. Buy at your own risk. It's a disgusting demon spawned hell book and I need it out of my house for my own personal health. I have recently developed asthma issues from handling too many musty comics, and this is the worst of the worst of the worst. An absolute rag of a copy sold recently on ebay for $100. This is notably worse than that mess. Much worse. But, again, I do remember reading the entire comic, so I think it's complete, and it is a big key. If you want to risk eternal suffering, this is your chance to get a Silver Age key for dirt cheap. Emphasis on the dirt. Note: the photo is a little blurry, but trust me, it looks better this way. Oh, and there's writing on the cover. It probably says "help me!" but I can't really read it.

Action Comics #181 - $65 Spine is split top and bottom and cover is detached. There's a fair on ebay listed right now at $75 with a big chunk out of the cover. Not many sales on this hard to find pre-code issue to go by, so let's just go a little below that and see what happens.

Josie and the Pussycats #46 - $SOLD Tight, clean, glossy copy. Around a 4.5/5.0 I think. First Pussycats cover. Maybe their first performance? If that matters to anyone. A lower grade copy sold on ebay for $125 recently. Another lower grade is currently listed for $125 as well. This copy is nicer than either of those.

Girls' Romances #78 - $110 Roy Lichtenstein panel - source for "In the Car." The spine is completely split and detached, or it would be is someone hadn't taped it back on. So It's all holding together as a result. A tear on the fc has also clearly been taped over. There's writing in the bottom margins of some of the pages - a kid with a marker writing about how much they hate someone 😂 Book is complete, and the panel of note is untouched, shown below. A 1.0 with detached/split cover sold on ebay recently for $125, so let's go a little below that for boardie discount.

Wow Comics #31 - SOLD This is a tight, clean book. It has a bend through the whole book that you can see on both the front and back. I think this could be significantly improved with a press if one was so inclined. Paper inside is heading south of cream. Only sign of brittleness is the extreme top right corner of the last half of the book has a small tringle missing, shown in pictures below. Great classic Mary Marvel cover.

Mad #2 - $175 I have this at a 1.8. Spine is split at bottom, and bottom staple is detached, but top staple is still holding. There's a couple pieces missing from right front edge that look to have been brittleness cracking, and the page quality inside isn't the best, though I didn't see any major brittleness. Nothing broke off while I was doing the page count! This is a low grade copy that displays the classic cover very, very well indeed. A cgc 0.5 recently sold on ebay for $175, and this is certainly nicer than that for the same price. Note: my scanner is on the fritz so I took the best big pictures I could.
